Leo DiCaprio + Chris Nolan is a perfect combination. one of the best young actors of the last 10 years together with one of the best young directors of the last 10 years. i'm very careful with most new movies today, because often they are just 'eye-candy'. but really none of Nolan's movies ever disappointed me. From Memento to Inception, everyone was great.
leo is one of the most amazing american actors in our generation, all his films have been fantastic, and they've all shown his versatility and pure talent. what an awesome guy
This movie is one of those movies that I wish I could delete from my mind, just to watch it again. DiCaprio is very well spoken and I like his presents, he is very intelligent. I just finished watching this movie and I was Blown away. It was very intellectual, yet the director was able to translate it to something we could understand. I like the uniqueness of the story. By far the best movie I have ever seen.
this movie is MAD. it is so complex yet nalon guides you thru, the character's relationships is what hooked me, after a ten hour trip they'll be connected for life. insane!
Basicially, violating the most personal right a person has that no one is able to hear or know if we don't say it: our thoughts and ideas within our mind. What a brilliant concept.
You know how sometimes people ask you "What's your favorite movie?" and most of the time you end up saying "I don't know." Yeah, well... this movie changed that for me =]
if leo is not only the best actor right now in film but he is the best actor to have ever appeared in hollywood. the story behind this film was amazing but it would not have been the same without leo. go see this!!! it is a masterpiece
DiCaprio seemed to enjoy both his role and the film becoming complete. Although I've heard that each scenes were physically hard and intense for him, and he was often very tired by the end of the day. I'm very curious about the film. But I also hope in Hungary they will not make a synchronous: we here in the Carpathians are somehow too stupid these days for good quality.
to watch this movie you have to clear your minds first cause during it your mind needs to be flexible of the events that's happening in the movie (this comment is for who watched the movie but was confuse by it) lol, but is a 10/10 movie experience!
@Makeupzised well the only reason i praised only him was because this was his interview and i was giving my opinion on his talent as an actor. and im with you on the fact the rest of the cast was amazing levitt was in almost all my favorite scenes from the movie and he really showed off his talents in this as well. nolan did a wonderful job with this film and i cant wait to see it again as well. im going later today hehe :)
@06ladi Its not about killing and you didn't understand a single thing abou the film...it's about the world of dreams and the movie actually "pushes" the limits of reallity to the edge...it's really clever and i thing you like it if you watch open minded...
@Makeupzised hahaha i know but you're right the rest of the cast did great and thats why this movie was soo good. joeseph gordon levitt was amazingggg in this film as were ellen page, tom hardy, and cillian murphy.
@RIPrepublicfilms don't get me wrong, I really like Leo, specially in Blood Diamonds (with his sexy Rhodesian accent) but it pisses me off that all you see in the trailer is him when the rest of the cast were amazing. I guess he's the one that sells, I don't know. I can't wait to see it again anyway :)
@06ladi I understand...but really, everything has it's meaning. And about film directors, my dream is to become a film director myself since my age of 15...i don;t think anyone's mad, i just think some people can think something beyond reallity and everything we knew and know... As for the "snow, mountains scene", one of the characters told a joke himself in the film. The place was designed by the architect.
@Skino473 haha, who do you think i am,i´ve understood the main idea about dreams, but: the scene with snow,by mountains, what about this?people like other people dying, because our world incl.filmdirectors are mad i dont even hope that you will understand me
@tml240 actually she did jump in real life but only because he had planted the idea in his head that life was a dream, so when they did get bacj to real life the idea was still in her head and she thought that the dream life was the real life. Confused? :)
Leo seems very artificial to me. Not that he is not talented as an actor being artificial professionally is the job and he has been around since growing pains but he has no real vulnerability or charm imo. Most girls have been hot for him since Titanic but I did not like the love story as much as the cinematography with that movie. I think he is somewhat guarded but that makes him less approachable imo. He always seems a bit like that Frank catch me if you can character I am never sure what his really him and what is just a front.
