These incinerating toilets cost much less than a septic system, and are great for remote locations, RV's Boats etc.
As of 2020 a septic system costs $10,000 or more to install.
Some advantages
Cost much less than septic
never have to pump out
can use any toilet paper
no clogged lines
much less water usage
great for remote locations
great if your soil conditions
don't allow a septic, sandy, to rocky etc.
negative is uses more electricity
at 12 cents a kilowatt it costs about 24 cents per use
flush every #2
can flush every other #1
need to buy liners
400 folded for $53
1000 unfolded $73
Incinolet is expensive up front costs
about $2000 and up
In this video I have some great tips for installing and do a burn test.

It is normal for the blower to turn on and off a few times after heaters burn cycle is complete. The blower is on when timer button is hit. ALSO the blower runs when the incinerator is above 130 F too. Ie an OR circuit. So the heater blower still blowes air out as exhaust after the burn cycle. Then stops once the ITS thermostat F130 drops below 130 ish. But since there is much incinerator often the thermostat goes above 130F and the blower goes on again. This is all in the manual. But i mention because maybe not obvious. The heater coil lasts longer if the ash pan has no more than 1/2 inch/ 1.3 cm of ash. That is because the ash adds insulation and causes the unit to work harder. The heater coil is full on until it cycles via a thermocouple sensor to the controller.

Put a clothes dryer vent cap on that pipe to keep critters out.

Excellent video... thank you! Why the Incinolet and not the Cinderella?

I wanted one that was electric, didn't want to have to get propane. May be a lower cost but I had not figured that out. Thanks for watching

Some ceramic tiles, or tiles designed for the wall behind a freestanding wood oven (often metal faced) should be available as an inexpensive separator.

So how are you liking it 6 months later?

It's good no problems. The only thing I have done is extend the burn time anchor 15 minutes.
