These cats have been jamming for 40+ years. They are one of the best 😅 groups I've ever heard. Such variety. Different singers, but never lacking. Incognito is the perfect name for this group. Love their songs and every song is great!.
I have been a fan of incognito for a long time and over the years heard many versions of always there but this version outshines all the rest. The beginning of this song is utterly beautiful and sends shivers down my spine every time I hear it.. If perfection is possible then this is perfection
@@midmidori Ronnie Laws wrote the original jazz instrumental in the 70's. Later on words were written for it, and Side Effects recorded it. Incognito eventually made it the hit that it became.

I have left a comment on this once before but I think it deserves a second one... Every single time I listen to this I get totally blown away by it.. I'm not sure of her name but the female vocalist absoloutly nails it 1000% she's truly captivating.. I love Jocelyn brown who sang this song originally she got me an incognito fan to begin with but she pales in comparison to this Lady.. BRAVO
I first her voice on the track Fountain Of Life from the album Beneath The Surface , she’s excellent . Ivecskezys thought Immani , Maysa , Joy and Pamela have been their best vocalists . Christopher is also very very good .
Great voice. The sound man has a ball with her effects. It's always a treat when a singer that can sing leaves a little space for the verb. Not just talent but professionalism and teamwork. I love her more than you do.
I can sing like her ...and am in the process of recording a Contemporary Funk and Soul album that'll sound very similar to Incognito's music. It takes a lot of work to protect and care for a voice like this. Certainly not easy and actually lacking sleep is one of the worst things for it.
Saw this performed live and filmed it at the 100 Club in Oxford Street two weeks ago by the BRIT FUNK ASSOCIATION which includes ex-members of Incognito. As an 80`s soulboy, this is my second favourite song of all time.

Was blessed to see Incognito live and the show was outstanding🔥🔥 !!!!!!! But on a heavier note I just recently lost one of my closest friends who also "Loved" this band and he had the chance to see them do "their thing" with us several years ago and was still talking about it. Rest in peace my Brother. Love you man !!!!!!!!!!!!!

What an amazing live version of this classic! The band (and drummer especially) are pro’s and I love that bluesy take at the beginning. Very tasty! But- NOBODY! -not even the 1976 original Evelyn “Champagne” King, can touch who fronted Icognito for the 1991 hit remake; the vocal powerhouse that is Jocelyn Brown!! Joceylyn has those pipes that can be neither duplicated, nor mistaken! 👑😌🏆
