Hi madam what every you say is nice. But i have doubt regarding medical professionals Women choose mostly medical person their "life partner "way ????? Is it possible foa a psychiatrist to take therapy sessions while practicing privately along with handling daily opd also....and is it true that psychiatrist charge upto5000 and more for 1 hr session..do people pay such amount..are there such psychiatrist in India....i am Medical student and i also want to persive psychiatrist in future and therapy session is that i am much interested but i keept hearing that psychiatrist only do opd they dont get or take time for session..its a job of psychologists!???

Hey, it is possible for psychiatrists to get trained in therapies and administer them. The cost would depend on many factors including the experience of the doctor. Usually this is possible after several years of private practice and experience . Also these days there are several therapists from different academic backgrounds. Mental health is a shared space among many professionals. So I do think it’s competitive but definitely possible. All the best for your endeavours.😊
