Good day. Love and appreciate the video series! Quick question though, on number 1, isn't dividends declared and paid supposed to be taken out after Net Income before going into comprehensive income? If not, can you explain why please? Thanks in advance.
Dividends would reduce retained earnings, but does not affect net income or comprehensive income. Comprehensive income is gains and losses from non-owner activities like unrealized gains and losses.
