Speaking of Big Man, there seems to be some inconsistencies between him in the video. It shows that he sang in the video in many parts such as 0:52, 1:02, 1:18, so on. However, in the game his red color light does not light up, meaning that he did not sing that and other lines. Aside from the mentioned, its still a somewhat clear representation. Even if you edit or fix this he'd still be last; but with even worse results. Which is also weird how Nintendo included him on the side of the official video, but the game said otherwise. (Which sucks honestly. Did Big Man even dirtier)

@@shark_girl yeah!! i usually enjoy fan english lyric videos but the canon english lyrics they gave three wishes was super cool :3 one thing that kind of confuses me is how the same inklish lyrics can mean different things. like how at 1:10, callie and marie say “yueni, yueni” which translates to “star at night, glowing bright”, so “yueni” both means “star at night” and “glowing bright”. and, in city of color, one of the lines in the song includes the word “nyueni” which could be related to the word “yueni”! i do know that nintendo just makes absolute gibberish for lyrics and then made some real english lyrics, but it’s fun to think about ^_^

@@inediblegummybears Nintendo doesn't make a whole new language for the series, so yeah it's absolute gibberish, but if we want to explain it, we could say it's a popular old phrase in the Splatoon world, maybe relating to an old language or various ones, or maybe actual languages in the splat world but from different parts of the world, making "Yueni, Yueni" actually mean something but not necessarily in the language, or dialect, we hear in the games Honestly I can see how star at night and glowing bright could be related even in a single language

WELL TECHNICALLY the end of the song loops back to the start ingame, so that part was already counted at the start!! so Callie and Marie got extra time, so Callie actually lost! Ha! I'm coping so hard rn

In defense of Big Man's lack of solos and fewer lines: the man is the goat at harmonies. I know people that don't have the voices to do strong melodies, but they are experts at crafting and singing harmonies. Big Man is a harmony guy, and it fits his personality spot on as well, I wouldn't change a thing!

despite their group name being now or never 7, big man has no parts where he both sings individually and has lyrics translatable to english.
