Nice video BUT, adjusting the miter bar in the track you ONLY tighten the 3 white washers. The white ones are split so that when you tighten the screw it expands. The black ones do not expand.

That's awesome that it shows the angle degrees. Awesome addition to the shop! And video quality is great

Thanks for taking the time to produce this video, I just ordered this miter gauge, and it is nice to see you put it together in real time and with the reality of assembling a new tool. You also answered one of my questions about what side could be used to engage the miter into the left miter slot or the right slot. It is reversible. Thank you for explaining that. In your intro to the video it looked to me like you had the Ridged Table Saw 4512, I have that saw and I have been very happy with mine. And that is coming from Delta Unisaw.. however latter on I learned it was a Powermatic.

I love how ur the only video online that shows it on the right side, but u didn’t say or show anything about the measuring tape and how it works reversed?!?!?

i noticed you stopped the video not showing how to square it. i own 1. it is the hardest part of the whole thing. it can be frustrating to tighten the screws when you square it, as you tighten the screws try to knock it back out of square. no these are not perfectly calibrated when you get them and yes you will have to square it. i have debated making a video myself because i do not see any that show this. also i hate to saw it but that stop on it really gets in the way. not only that it makes the gauge very lopsided and heavy. i was using it on a smaller contractor saw and it always wanted to lean off to the left side. make sure you have the t slot in or it will fall off the saw if you do not have a wide enough saw. the gauge itself works really great, i do not regret buying it, but, i keep seeing videos that do not show all you go through to install and use it.

It's scare me watching you pushing the wood with your bare hand .Use a Gripper or make your own push block better than blade slice your hand.

Great video. My only criticism would be that you use the word, “So” a thousand times and it get kinda annoying near the end.
