Great tip on targeting! That's something that's really overlooked by a lot of players. I've noticed it's one of those tweaks that players miss that can instantly help them make a TON more shots.
The only difference between him and other coaches is that he keeps encouraging us. Not putting our hopes down, but telling us to keep trying. Mad respect.
I swear bro, this man is getting me 18 points a game man. Everytime I watch his videos I just get better. This is the man right here. Subscribe to him. He the boss💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Thanks coach Howard for all of the advice. In five less than five hours I already mastered my shot and my shot was messed up before. I just wanna thank you because basketball season is starting soon and my shot was messed up so bad to were I probably wouldn't pass the tryouts. Anyways keep it up I'll be watching you videos, only, to improving my skills in basketball and by the way I subscribed even though I know it won't do very much because you have so much subscribers, but I wish you the best time and may God bless you!
Thank you coach Howard for elite basketball for teaching me how to do a hopstep, and a floater but I need help with the shammgod, the spin move, and a left hand layup.
I am going to do basketball this year, but have no clue how to play. Your videos are helping me a lot, I can't stop. I will improve a lot on basketball season
I have a basket in my courtyard and usually practice in the week-ends cause of school and the reason why I miss was specified by you in the video. My wrist goes to left, to right even my elbow when I shoot and I'm not being consistent with that. I'm gonna try and practice tomorrow using the tips you shared, also focusing on dribbling, and doing pull-ups. My favourite shooting technique when I'm running is to like hop-step. Thanks for the great video and funny intro!
Just keep dribbling and protecting the ball, don't do unnecessary combos moves, if the defense is tight, call for a screen. Don't let the nerves take over of you
Jeral Fong put pressure back at the defense by driving to the hoop if they are playing u tight then if u get pass them it will take some time for them to get back on u this is also not my first recommended choice it can lead to turnovers and blocked shots pass the ball if possible but u can't always make a good pass with tight D so drive to the hoop and look for who will come on u for help defense and pass to the open man or u can always be Kobe and make a hard contested fade away and 1 foul shot number 1 choice for me 😎
Bro, thanks for your videos, I watched this video like 10 times and I got to the gym. Last night I dropped 5 3s in game, you helped me a lot bro thanks
NO LIE BUT THIS VIDEO WAS GREAT. I CAN SEE THE DIFFERENCE OF MY SHOOTING FROM BEFORE AND NOW. I SHOOT SO MUCH BETTER NOW THAN 2 DAYS AGO. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO 🙏
thanks a lot for the info on using the guide hand also, cause i come in the gym all the time and shoot for hours with one hand and it seems that my guide hand messes up my shot more than i want it too. i wish you can make a video using the guide hand and how not to let it be the downfall of a good shot!!
Tobi Ojo u must not play or watch basketball great shooter like steph barely jump unless it’s contested watch steph in open gym he comes like 2 inches of the ground
Coach howard my name is roderick clark and i thank u for the drills and everything u taught me i been cut 6 7 and 8 grade year but i practiced on what u taught and i made jv highschool basketball team for one of the best teams in my state i thank u coach howard
Targeting works because the longer you look at the net the more time your brain has to develop depth perception to that target which will give you a better idea of how much power to use.
Coach Howard thank you for making videos. I have watched your videos for a while and you have a better understanding of younger generation than others. if you were my coach I would never want to stop training because my coaches don't want to help. any help
