if you want to know how to cut losses short it’s best you seek the counsel of a trading expert. I know this will sound like a cliché, but the main reason that people lose money in the financial markets is that they can’t cut their losses short. It's depends on your balance. Example: 2% x $5000 = 100% x $100. So if you want to risk $100/trade, you can use 2 scenario. 100% full margin with $100 balance (for 1 trade) or 2% with $5000 balance. you can choose it. make sense??

or you can focus on gettign consistent. First you start with $100, u risk 2% u build that account in 4 months. once u get consistent, you can aim to deposit $5k and start making real gains. what matters is consistency, not the gains. The gains will come with time bro.
