Thank you, Kate! May I suggests you to make more videos on RP English and on the different scenes like at the restaurant (hello...I would like to order something... can I have a bill please), at the shop (how much does it cost), at bank (I would like to withdraw/deposit money), at the date, at the taxi e.g different of sample conversations of our daily life scenes. As well as you could have a couple of samples of business English with letters like how to start letter and how to end it etc.
Kat, at this rate I'll ask you to make a video a day, 'cause from my perspective this would be a win win situation. You are extremely talented in your teaching and I can perceive your happiness in doing your task! And...yes, this is what it's meant to be! there's nothing to think over...you're definetly THE number one and we are lucky to be your students...In my case, a little bit overgrown student! 🤣 May your weekend be ravishing, my princess! 🥰
Hello amazing Katharine!💗 Your presentation of lessons is so emotional and expressive that i want to come back and watch you again and again. Thank you very much!
I love these beautiful vocabularies from you Katherine to speak nicely in British English. Your explanation of English words are really admiring Katherine.
Hi Katharine, I’m an Englishlearner from Taiwan. This is my first time to leave a message 😊 just would like to say your speaking speed is wonderful that’s why I’m here. Please please do how quick you speak as normal as which do help people who wants to get used to normal UK life talk. Much appreciated for your video brainchild helping me have a chance not only improving my listening but learning your elegant life style❤
Professor Katharine, your daily expressions are getting also mine since your today video. I see possibility putting them into practice and ameliorate my vocabulary.
It's such an amazing teaching video as always! I've learnt so much from you and I took a note of them on my phone note so that I can revisit to consolidate. You are the No.1 native british who speaks with a beautiful quintessential british accent that I would love to listen for hours. Thank you for all your effort and amazing teaching!!😃
Hello, Katharine.😊 As for a win-win situation, let me think it over…well, how about you and us? All of us definitely get a lot out of your lessons. Your fluency has rubbed off on us for sure. Katherine, you're simply great! A marvelous teacher. Let me tell you, since you surely don't know that, that in Spanish we've got exactly the same saying 'Entra por un oído y sale por el otro,' but it doesn't mean what it does to you in Britain. This Spanish saying means that whatever you tell that person about he won't paying attention because he's not interested in the subject or he'd rather not hear your comments on it and therefore it would listen to you from 'one ear,' but whatever you're telling him would 'get right away find its way out from his other ear.'
Good to see you again Kat , beaming as always . Lovely floral blouse , in cheering up "Spring " style !❤ 2. I love the videos best that you are reading us aloud the old English masterpiece writers with their characteristic " long phrases " writing style , e.g. , Austen , Brontë , Dickens .
This is because you have to practice your English, talk to people in English... Or just write down on a paper same phrases and look in the mirror... Then try to talk to yourself watching always your mouth. Give it a try, you'll see the results doing it once a day 20 minutes.
Congrats, Katharine!!!👏👏 You rock!!! Thanks a bunch for your contents. I've been learning a lot with them!!!! You're one of the best teatcher I've seen here on RU-vid!!!! Your method is fantastic 👏👏👏👏 hope to get the fluence someday!!! Xoxo from Brazil 🇧🇷 ❤
I’ve jotted down every word from this video and I listen to it every day along with your other videos while I’m on the train, taking in the lush southern lands. I reckon the vibe here in England has really sparked something in me, making your MRP accent stick in my head. Honestly, my pronunciation has come on in leaps and bounds. I know there’s a fair bit to go, but I’m dead set on nailing this accent, no matter how long it takes. I’m putting in a proper shift.
Just LOVE your videos - very clear explanations. I’m introducing your lessons to my daughter. We enjoy watching your videos so much - we are from Hong Kong ❤❤❤
I'm practicing listening English with your videos(of course learning great expressions as well) and I think I'm seeing myself getting better day by day! Always appreciate you. And... could you make some more videos about accents of diverse cities? like Liverpool one you created before. Because that was really interesting for me! Have a lovely day 💙
Wow Amazing. Your explanation is crystal clear. You are sensational. I like british accent. My granny was English teacher and she is extraordinary person.
Thank you so much, Katharine, for another informative video. As for 'in one ear, and out the other' , in Russian we have the same phrase that is quite common. I didn't even know there's one in English, thanks!
Hi Catherine!! I love your channel! This summer I'm going to spend some days in Cornwall, place that I'm looking forward to visit. Have you ever been there? I suggest you to make a video about some places around your marvellous UK
Hello Dear Katherine, Thanks a lot for this lesson. Like I learned and enjoyed learning because you well understand that we need to use some common phrases with easy pronounciation which adds value and confidence to my level. Thank you very much, Warm Regards.
