No place to store groceries. Need a floor to ceiling pantry for people who do all their own cooking and a place for dishes, pots and pans. I see other builds that include these spaces at the same size build plus a taller full size frig., and loft. I suppose you could add a loft to the cottage. Other to that the cottage is so cute. You could add the flower boxes to other builds. It would add a lot for looks. How about a video of the new plans for the Beast. I liked the way the Beast opened up the space and the loft with side ladder. A modified cheaper version would be nice that was 9 times 24 or 10 times 24 for those who do not plan to move it.
@@kimhicks4781, I have a tall, narrow hutch that I plan on using in the cottage. It has plenty of room for my dishes, pots and pans, and then some. My groceries will fit in one of the lower cabinets in the kitchen. I’m trying to really downsize with everything so that I don’t take a lot of extra “stuff.” 🤗
@@LindaK726 Your lucky you found a narrow hutch because they usually are wider. The windows on both sides are large so it does not leave much room. For me I do most of my shopping at Costco so I have large containers. I do not like to go to the store and I can get everything I need at Costco. Their is one lady there that gave a tour and she bought an extra storage shed to put food in however I do not think I would want to store food out in a small shed like she does but it was certainly a creative idea. Wishing you a great 2024
I so much wanted this at Buffalo Creek, but my mom fell ill just as I was about to sign on. Ah well, who ever owns this, enjoy my little cottage in the woods dream! Loving it. ❤️
Now that’s a cottage !! I love the idea of a daybed, or a twin bed with drawers underneath. A chair in the corner. Bedroom/living room. No need for a dresser when you have that closet ! Love it !! ❤
That is a very good question, I would probably put a flat screen TV in the kitchen over the grey circuit breaker panel or watch tv on my laptop computer.@@lindapayne4070
Those tiny homes are just what I need. Something not to big to clean. I have a back disease and could live in a little home that’s easy to 😅clean. I would love a daybed.
I can’t stop laughing!!! You guys are so funny. I’ve watched you for years and enjoy sharing your life with you. God bless you. Stay true and don’t change.
Love this little home, too. The porch's added living space, on nice days, & the interior layout are cozy details not typically seen in most more affordable tiny homes. If I was young & just starting out, this model & the reasonable price would make it my choice. 😊👌
I love your homes but surely I am not the only one that wonders what you are thinking with the bathroom light fixture in all the kitchens. Surely there are better options.
I think a little bigger round table and 2 high back upholstered chairs are perfect for that eat in kitchen. The back room set up for living/bedroom. Great little home!
I would put my small recliner in the kitchen corner and maybe another chair for a guest, and use a tray table to eat on. And just keep the back room for my single bed.
That's what I was thinking: a nice round 30 inch table with two nordic wooden chairs with cushion seating would be better at filling the space and breaking the square. You could even put a classic standing coat rack in the corner between the table and the door. I would be drinking coffee while reading or having breakfast or diner there every day!
Amanda get better soon. Absolutely love the cottage layout. I do agree with some others that I would want it turned around on the lot for easier front door access.
Love the cottage it really is a great home! Would love to see it without a porch . 4 ft extra living space could help to have a living room/ kitchen . Then a bedroom in the back and it would bee 100% a complete home .yall are ,in my opion one of the best tiny home sellers . Most are affordable, and it looks like yall really care about what you're selling . Great work by the whole team .
I was thinking the same thing. Without the porch you could have a bigger kitchen. You could add a porch later once you were settled. A moveable porch. I watch a Nomad in Northwestern Canada who does this. I think her house is 28 feet and is beautiful and was built in Canada
What a beautifully done ru-vid.comUgkxYGamVaHfdHiPlAQaLa7zkwR02OKpGYDU ! The instructions and the photographs are brilliant. It is thorough and genuinely informative. Ryan got another winner! No one does it better!
I went and checked my toilet, didn't even have to move it after 48 years, just right!!! LOL!!!! You guys are so fun!!!! Make my day!!!! Thank you!!! Love all the tiny houses, saving my money, for 1 of each style!!!! on a side of the mountain!!!! love you Guys!!!!!!
The gift of making someone laugh when they haven’t laughed in weeks or months.......can’t put a price on it. 💕Love your houses. Wish I lived in Tennessee but I love my family more. Gotta get some land here.
I love the cottage ,but I would extend the house onto the porch, so no porch put the sink ,kitchen etc where the porch was put the door on the side! That way I would have a kitchen area and a living area ! You could always add a deck. 😊
I would have it turned around the other way. Someone with limited mobility issues (like myself) would have difficulties getting to the door from the parking spot.
I hope you feel better Amanda! Beautiful cottage. However, I would want the cottage facing the other way. Easier to bring in groceries and such into the house.
It's a 200 Sq ft home that has a mini split designed to heat & cool up to 300 Sq ft. I think it'll be fine, but you could always add a wall panel heater or a small window AC in the bed/living room.
@@JayScott-yn7ch yes, I know but you also have to remember that they're hanging a barn door too and that would close off the areas, so that's why I thought it would be better to put the mini split in the other room.
They temporary set the cottage facing that direction due to equipment, weather, and for filming schedule. There was a separate video showing the process and addressing the reasons decisions were made & directions of the Buffalo Creek neighborhood.
Oh my gosh I laughed so hard 😂😂😂 my husband and I just celebrated our 32 anniversary and we were laughing so much. we couldn’t catch our breath I really hope you Sell that house ❤
I would love to buy that wee cottage, here in Ontario Canada they are still not open to tiny homes. We have lots of tiny home builders but I am not seeing the variety of styles and prices you offer. Wish I could move there, it looks like my kind of place. Kudos to you two for providing people with housing that is affordable and so beautiful. I have not had a permanent home for three years, and there is no prospect for the future. Love your videos, you do such an awesome job👍🏻
Do you know how many 1 bdrm., studios I’ve lived in that were tinier than the cottage? People of NY would say I’m living in the Taj Mahal!!! Lmao you have adequate space for everything! Learning curves and adjustments can be made. It’s cute and perfect and meets all your needs and it’s YOURS!!! Cheers!🙏🏻❤️😁
Perfect bed for that small room would be a pop-up trundle bed. It's a twin-sized daybed with another twin mattress stored underneath in the apparatus. When needed, you can pull out the bottom mattress from underneath the bed and it pops up right beside the other mattress creating a larger bed. I had one of these in my childhood room.
Let me tell you....if I hadn’t already purchased my Charleston before this model was made, this would have been my home. I love my Charleston ( no doubt about it) but this is a Nanette house and I adore it. Good job coming up with this one Randy
Could you put the toilet next to the shower? Easy to squeeze past into the shower, and somewhere to sit to dry off. And the snk would be right in front of the door. I've seen that done in hotel rooms. Just an idea but you've probably thought of it 😊 It might not be wide enough for some knees 😅 or need a skinnier toilet. BTW Love watching your joyful videos
I struggled on this one. Loma😅. Anyway 44, 9. For this toilet experience. And everything else that comes with this cottage. Thks guys. I haven't laughed like that in a long time. I had tears rollen .
You all ar a hoot! Thank you so much for the laughter. That was truly awesome. Amanda and Randy, you all are so damn real. Screw the toilet. You guys love each other. :)
Lol, I enjoyed the story of moving the toilet 3 inches. Stop making fun of him, inches are very important to men! Lol. Beautiful tiny cottage. ❤ I subbed to the channel just for the great laugh in the video. I loved it. 😂❤
They would need to turn that around for me. I'd hate to pull up to the back side of my house and walk in all kinds of weather to my front porch with groceries. Love the house but put it on the lot the right way.
Love this design. The widow boxes and porch make this house. Love the light blue color and all on one level. No climbing stairs. A few French country furniture pieces and it would be lovely.
I really enjoyed this. Thank you. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. Buffalo Creek is going to be, the place to be, I can feel it. It's going to be beautiful. Thumbs up from S. California.
Randy and Amanda if I’d get to laugh as hard as I’m laughing right now living there with you two.I’d buy this tiny house yesterday hahahaha hahahaha 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I would switch out the sofa for 2 seperate long wide sitting benches that run along the wall with storage under cushions and place table/storage cubes that can put back in between the two benches to to make it a bed.. it would give the appearance that the seating area looking out the windows is larger and bringing the outside in..still a beautiful home.. I your community center going to have a large (jumbo like a 100/200 LB washing machine) for these folks bedding.clothes, lines, etc if they arent able to purchase a washer dryer combo for their home? Is there a option for a shower tub combo that has a sitting seat built in with a perhaps deeper shower pan for those perhaps with mobility issues or wanting to bathe their dogs?
When I seen this model Icried for hours. Its everything I I wanted in a tiny. Home. Because I am suck I gave up. Everything is through no fault of my own. Lost everything. My dteamfor the past ten years was realzed with this tiny. I wish I never seen it. Randy, Amanda thank you for you. Xox
I love the cottage it's so pretty. I love watching you two your hilarious. Amanda I hope you get to feeling better soon but you haven't lost your great sense of humor girl. I told you and Randy a few years back that I knew you all were going to be a success. I could feel it in my bones and just look at you all now. I'm over the moon about it. Great job as usual. Sending love to everyone at ITH and the community's. You all are truly blessed
OMG you too are just like me!!!! that infectious laugh\\\\ so awesome I was laughing right along with yas lol I have the same exact sense of humor and I love this home also loved the march madness one i just saw would be nice if you picked my name out however I'm seriously thinking about going to Buffalo creek guys I just don't know what all I have to do as I'm a Canadian citizen as I've said my daughter is half native American has status she can come and go anytime but not me and well everything i have will go to her so its a nice thought id have to set this up for her and not that I'm going anywhere soon but is still good to have a back up plan for my daughter as I'm 55 id say another 15 yrs. going by my folks ages, But seriously I need to know where to start to make this happen as I have no idea!! money isn't issue well I'm not rich but I've been saving for this very thing!!!!!!
