Hi Nick. These motorhome (RV) tours are great. Rolls Royce LWB Phantom, Hummer stretch, Arcticulated RV, and a few test drives, Zonda, Mclaren, Koninsseg. Great walkthrough tour as always. Awesome video thanks.
Your celebrity status as Motaholic and Aquaholic should get you in the door. I know there is a LOT of work goes into making, filming, editing these videos. Always a pleasure to watch including the scenery walks on lockdown. Many thanks 😊
Looks absolutely great..also available in Europe? Can I modify features too? What are the average maintanance costs..and where are they available? Can normal Mercedes garages maintain them?
What a lovely coach this is, Nick. I've been watching RV channels for some years before I discovered the Aquaholic channel (and others) and yachts. All exercises in window shopping I suppose. Still, I couldn't help but notice commonalities between the RV and yachting world. I had the idea of asking you if you'd noticed this, too, while watching this vid. And then your camera focused on the systems control panel and I saw the Raymarine logo on the touchpad. LMAO ... Oh well....
Garage is cool but not really, any buyer would prefer the extra storage / living space, if they desire a car, they just get a tiny trailer! Garage units are show stoppers, "hey come look at me" piece! I guess some get to live the dream someday, look at these videos and few years later come to own one! Trends! A proper Shadeseeker however :D Love it
I'm not impressed -- all I could think of was all the places you wouldn't be able to go; and everything that could go wrong with it when you're a 1,000 kays from the nearest servo -- or more. No thanks. I'll stick with my LandCruiser, and an off-road camper.
I suppose you could always rinse out a few dainties in the loo hang them from a line on the fully extended awning to dry them out - perhaps a posh neighbor might wince, but I'd say you're being quite frugal to pay the monthly mortgage on that beast.
Money is a good things can buy u happiness and mental health those they say money can not buy u happiness they are bunch of BS people of course good money not bad money nice motor home 😉
I'm always confused by how little attention is paid to TV placement when people design RVs, yachts and apartments. The TV is the primary use of a living room and will be used basically every single day, but it is always either far too small for the distance away you would have to sit, or in this case just doesn't have anything in front of it. How are you going to design an RV that costs 400k and not give a single thought as to how people would spend time in it on rainy days? The RV looks fantastic from a quality perspective, but I don't know how someone could live in one long term with the main TV stuck in a location you would have to stand in an open space to watch.
Your out on the road exploring things and meeting a lot of people, whats the meaning to build it arround a TV, I would guess this kind of vehicle you can make request on how you want to spec it, so the owners here probably have spec this one for other purposes than watching TV like they were at home.
@@ToProTyp By that logic, it doesn't need a bathroom or a bedroom either, but it has both of those, because it's intended for you to be able to live in it. Each room has a purpose, and is supposed to be designed with that in mind. Designing a living room area without considering that people might occasionally want to actually watch a movie in it from time to time (such as on rainy days) is like designing a bedroom, but forgetting to level the bed, so anyone sleeping on it would have to constantly try to not roll off. It would be a room that fails in the purpose it was designed for, just like a living room without a conveniently usable TV.
Exactly what I thought but there will be other models that have that problem solved. But yes if you were buying it then that's a bit of a show stopper.
Yeah what’s the point with all that, even Nick in the beginning I can’t say I ever contemplated hitting a dislike, if it doesn’t float your boat go watch something else
For me, there has always been confusion as to what these buttons are for. 1, Do you like or dislike the video presentation? 2, Do you like or dislike the product under review? Lord knows EVERYONE loves Nicky Noo, so i'll ask the man himself: what do you think Nick, what are we voting for?
Nothing to dislike on the video to be sure, but a bit to dislike on the vehicle. No laundry facilities for one, and a pop top bedroom is frankly terrible. If you've ever slept in a pop top in the wind, you'll understand. Obviously the gains are the garage, which is fantastic. I'm not well versed enough in motor homes to comment on value for dollar, but this seems pricey to me for the equivalent of a $40k slide in camper sleeping accommodation. Can't over value a good sleep!
Gorgeous machine. This MB chassis is spectacular! All the fearures from their top cars in a bigger format. Love the interior, very classy. The way the bedroom is higher to give space for the garage is really clever! Awesome bit of kit. Great tour as usual, Nick. Cheers!
Blimey. That’s a beast. Cracking looking RV. Everything you could ever want. Still prefer yachts. RVs that big would be difficult to use in this country. Awesome bit of kit though. Great vid Nick
Not being in the super wealthy class that can afford such a splendid vehicle my question is where in Costa del Blighty or anywhere else in the world would one go for a holiday in it? Are there Downton Abbey Caravan and Camping Association campgrounds available? Perhaps you could do a video that shows the campgrounds and the facilities available where these behemoths pull in to. Thank you.
Wonderful💫🙏🤝 All Central Asia and Afghanistan🇦🇫👬🧑🤝🧑👬🧑🤝🧑 I love Europien technology together work come in🤝🙏💼 Sofi from Central Asia and Afghanistan🇦🇫
I am disappointed that nothing was revealed about the engine. I would have liked to have known, 1. Where it is. 2. How to access it. 3. What make of engine. 4. What size (either in liter or horse power)
The truck is a Actros not a aros and the ' tankage you showed was the after treatment or Catalytic converter euro 6 and exhaust box, not a tank. You also stated 'this has a rear steering axle and in tight spots you can really crank it around' well no you can't. The rear steer only provides around 1/4 if that of the front axles lock. It can be lifted for extra manoveablity but at the cost of risking a huge overhang, know by coach drivers as whale tale. Someone should have briefed you a little better I think. Actros is pronounced ACT ROSS spelt Actros. With all comercial Mercedes benz the max gross wieght and engine bhp is indicated by the chrome numbers on the driver and passenger doors. Eg 2540 = 25 tonne max gross, 40= 400bhp 2545 = 25t 450bhp 2550 = 25t 500bhp Merc vans are the same 315 = 3 tonne van 150 bhp This may be of use to you . Regards Basherman Trucker who drives another German truck brand MAN who also make Neoplan coaches. MAN use tge same sort of badge system. My tractor unit is a 26.500 Yep you guessed it. 26 tonne 500bhp. Cheers
This is what we should have had. After seeing this vehicle and the extra bits it has, I am very disappointed with what we have. But it is too late we have to make do with what we have. 🙁. Thank you for showing us this beautiful vehicle. 🙏Does the company make a Mercedes camper vans ?
The vehicle is amazing...but unfortunately width of most rural and national parks` roads is not sufficient to accommodate it. For example in Lake district you would only get as far as Windermere from M6. Coniston, Ambeside and so on only with car or van. I witnessed once 1 motorhome struggling to get from Coniston to Keswick. The driver certainly sweated 1 litre in process.
Is it me or does this highlight how greedy boat makers are? You get all this truck for the same price as a Axopar dingy, I mean the truck chassis costs the manufacturers £120,000 before they even start. The boat manufacturers just put GRP in a mould and they are good to go.
Looks pretty but really wasted so much potential. 4 seats when driving. Garage for 4 seater car. Only one double bed. When parked up and the car is out, that garage is such wasted space. It should be made accessible from the inside and convert to a second bedroom twin or double. Otherwise get rid of the two extra seats wasting space. So close to suiting 2 couples or 2 adults and 2 children.
Very cool. In 5-10 years I'm guessing there will be something comparable mounted on a Tesla Semi chassis. Then you could ride around in a mobile house and still have environmentalist pretensions. Maybe. Sort of.
Well my obvious comments would be on a vehicle at that price. No handrails on the steps into the vehicle. Might seem a minor point but any potential purchasers are likely to be older and would like the comfort of a handrail. Would not have been difficult to engineer. Sloppy design. The panel fit on all the exterior storage doors is very poor with uneven shut lines. Unacceptable on a used vehicle at this price. Minute two burner kitchen hob. Why no four burner induction hob?
It would be better if some of the techs were described, such as ‘it’s a compressor fridge’ or solar and battery types and capacities etc. Diesel or gas heating, size of generator and inverter. A lot of people are interested in all this. ‘Just sayin’
HI Nick, great tour! I really like these RV tour videos. You should take one out on a trip and make a video, kind of like your boat videos, They're great too.
Look great seem very nice I bet you was even drive smooth Bus for those people that don't know enough to hook up that car to the back of their RV I personally like the idea of knowing but the car is behind me not inside but that's only me and the price tag will the extra to bring your car in doesn't know well me either think about it boys and girls a couple extra dollars so your car is in a carriage house really interesting
How is sleeping area small for 4 family members ? Only one room and space to sleep. That dropping bad i dont count. Where to sleep 2 more adults in RV that costs almost half a mil euros ?
WOW, not a supercar, it's a superbus. It's like something from Thunderbirds or Joe 90 (your alter ego) 🤣😂🤣. I love this. A professional driver and this is the way to travel, driver gets a b and b, owners get the bus. Perfect. I want one.👍👍👍 🚌🚐🚌🚐🚌🚐☠🏴☠️⚓😎
Not a lover of the living room layout! Only two people can relax in comfort! The rest have to sit upright on at the dining table… for that price I’d want at least a family of four to have relaxing chairs…
Just don't see the point of something that big. Just a huge cumbersome hulk that would be near impossible to park in a town. I'd rather have a T6 that won't restrict where you can go.
Beautiful coach, but with the world going electric, I wouldn’t want to spend this much money on something that’s going to be obsolete in the near future
I don't get it why is the toilet not at the back, if you think about it, after beans on toast and you go to the loo, the way to the bedroom will be off limits, if you get what I mean even the Mrs will be breathing fresh air 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I sthis a Diesel Pusher or what? Where the heck is the motor? The space in rear takes the Mini. Motor upfront? making the dear old noise like in the 50th?
I live in holland and here it's called a camper and because it weighs more than 3500kg, you need a truck drivers license and that's it. No log books or anything because it's not used in the transport business, but for privatte use only.
Are we ever aware not only what is going on in the world but also what is going on inwardly? If we are aware, can we be aware without any choice? It is possible only when we understand how choice has become very important in life.
It kind of defeats the object 😆 but I'm more concerned about how you put the handbrake on in the garage when the car is winched in. Do you just rely on straps?
@@nothingsurprisesmeanymore this belongs to a mate of mine and he keeps a fully electric mini in the rear, it’s very easy to get the car in and out you can get in and out via the drivers door.
For about 10 percent of the cost of this motorhome and on-board car, I'll take a new car or SUV and spend my nights in first-class motels and eat my meals in restaurants where someone else does the cooking and cleaning up.
For the price I noticed they still use the old fashioned push in door latches, also the television in the lounge is not in a place suitable for watching by everyone on the seating.
Gorgeous land-yacht! I've driven on your roads there in the UK (and elsewhere in Europe), there's no way I'd want to take that beast into ANY city center. Hell, I wouldn't take it through cities on the US side of the pond if I would need to exit the interstate LOL
Awesome piece of kit Nick. Great tour as usually seen on Aquaholic. Stunning vehicle that carries a proper car... Mini Cooper / Abarth 595 Turismo and the like. Like I said... Awesome.
A problem with that layout is that people wanting to come and go from the bedroom have to pass through the toilet area that might be in use. A separate toilet area with a door would be better.
That's a nice rig. Luxury of course. Is there too much electronics in these rigs ? I don't know. Makes it painful when they start going wrong and stuff ?! I'm a bit old school. Used to love my old Vw polo with the most basic dashboard and a great solid radio and two physical keys and a massive lawnmower engine that I sort of understood. anyway that's a mighty rig. The camper I had was just a little different to this one, shall we say.
Beautiful Land Yacht! The front looks really cool like something out of a movie where a science or military unit pulls up in the dark with all the lights blazing checking out an alien landing site! 👽 lol! Wish we could have seen the interior with the slide outs closed, but I know it's not possible at a show. Only thing that I didn't care for was the bathroom would be awkward if someone was using it and you needed to get out of your bedroom to go up front or outside. You're locked in till they're finished! Great Vlog on a really cool ride! 👍
Very lovely RV. The only huge design flaw is that you have to pass through the loo to access the bedroom so you cannot access the bedroom when someone is using the loo! I wish they had come up with a better solution for that.
Yes but who ever is on the toilet would only be a maximum of 10 mins and what are the chances you would want to access the bedroom while someone is on the toilet.
The walkthrough bathroom, reminds me of a narrowboat. I absolutely love. If you were to slip a review of a narrowboat in every once and a while it wouldn’t hurt my feeling at all.
