The extra battery was from one of my previous bikes, but otherwise G-Force sells batteries that can fit in the slot (10.4Ah and 20Ah options). The bike came with two battery connectors, but all you have to do is get a discharge convertor. I have this one: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BTC8GH2K/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1&psc=1
Awesome bike, man! Quite fast. Here in NL they are limited to 25kph cause they go on bike lanes. More videos of you doing deliveries and such. I love them. You could talk about veganism while doing that
So how much wiring was actually in the frame for you to be able to run the second battery? And how much did you have to add? I've been wanting to know if this is possible since I first saw that this bike still had space and connections for a second battery. You're the first person I've seen that has actually shown that this is indeed possible and for that I hugely thank you!!
Does bike comes with two battery connectors, the ones that have the plus and minus on them. The one that powers this bike's battery (the one that comes standard under the seat post) is situated directly under the battery while the second battery connector is situated inside the central part of the frame in the compartment with the motor controller. That one is not connected to the motor controller so you would need to get a dual discharge connector in order to run both batteries at the same time. This is the one I use: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BTC8GH2K/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1&psc=1 Most bike batteries that are 20Ah and under should fit inside the central tube, but it will not be a perfect fit unless you buy a G-Force battery, but it'll work with some tweaking. Does a charger port hole and a keyhole on the left hand side and on the bottom respectively so you can run your second battery when it's connected and charge it directly from the frame. If you have further questions, just let me know. Thanks for stopping by!
@@miketunney69420 Oh wow I very much appreciate the response and tons of info! SO what if, for starters, I just got a second battery and wanted to use it as a lighter weight set up for instance. Without the big main battery. Do you think it would work like that? Without any modifications?
@@miketunney69420 SICCCK DOOOD!! Thank you again for all that great info!! Oh wait, does it come connected? Do I need to connect it, or get any extra wires to connect it? I will probably eventually get the dual set up, but I love the concept of having it able to be set up as a lighter weight set up when Im not in the mood to lug around the huge battery and just need to make shorter trips or go and have some fun. Mind you, I dont own it yet, But plan on selling my super 73 for it if I had to guess. Makes more sense for me at this point
I bought this bike and it has a faulty controller or battery. I haven’t been able to ride it for 2 months. G-force hasn’t replaced either and it cost me $80 for diagnostic. Anyone else had problems?
Pop open the battery cover and check the ignition. The wires that connect the battery cable to the ignition were not welded properly, and apparently, this is a problem with the 2023 model (the one I have). This wasn't a problem until about 750 miles in.
@@miketunney69420 Yea I do get sum range I only charge it once a week not cuz have to that's wen battery is bout half way down. How's battery on yours?
@@munstergeorge it's the same size battery as Aniioki so it gets similar range as their bikes. I micro charge mine quite often since I do delivery work with my bike. These kinds of bikes (anything with a 60Ah battery) is a safe bet for people that want to do delivery work with a bike instead of a car.
This discharge converter should be all you need (make sure your second battery had a positive/negative adapter, most batteries should come with one): www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BTC8GH2K/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1&psc=1 You can connect any battery that has an XT-female port (the yellow tip).
@@FMB123 I actually had a leftover 48v 15Ah battery from my Luckeep X1 (sold the frame and some parts) so I just use that as my second battery. Otherwise, a similar size battery will cost a couple hundred USD.
So you figured the specs and wiring yourself? Impressive, bike still rockin for you? I'm looking for an emergency bike to take me home from work, 71 miles, live in so cal (earthquakes) plus a town cruiser

@@legendaryanimegeek yes the 2023 model had some issues with welding of the key ignition, and I had issues with the charging port a few weeks ago, but the manufacturer sent me a completely new battery which was awesome.
@mikethecornking wow that sounds great. I was just concerned becuase I was seeing other reviews on other channels saying that the battery wasn't reliable
@@legendaryanimegeek I have experienced some issues with the battery itself after the fact though. The charging port gave out, and the key ignition wasn't welded on properly. The manufacturer told me these were common "bugs" with the 2023 model so they mailed an entirely new battery to compensate, plus I did some makeshift stuff to have the original battery still function (just required some specific adapters and omitting the key ignition).
I'm just her uncle; she's my landlord's dog. Unfortunately, she's not on a plant-based diet, but she does enjoy the vegan jerky I bought for her a while ago!
