I believe the ammonite is that and not an ammolite. The ammolites that I have seen have an opalescent sheen on them (I have one)

ammolite is the animal and ammonite is the stone from the animal. Both the same just differentn time in the life of the creature

I believe the mottled green opaque stone is serpentine. More of a spinach color....darker in the greens. Google jades vs serpentine and go to images. There are charts

“Ammonite” if the fossil is not opalized (no rainbow colors in it) and “Ammolite” if the fossil has opalized and has opal/rainbow colors in it

I think the KTH piece is Turkish, the K is for Turkish and the TH us the manufacturer. I could be wrong but I remember reading that a while back.

That's an interesting question. I don't "clean" vintage pieces of jewelry before mailing, but I try to make sure they're not dusty or dirty. I will sometimes maybe wipe things down with a barely wet cloth. I almost never take off tarnish. Some people (MEEEE!) like it! Thanks and thanks for watching.
