Puoi dire che non ti piace, che il brano che ha portato non rientra nei tuoi gusti, ma dire che fa schifo dimostra solo quanto tu non capisca affatto di musica. Scommetto che sei uno che ascolta trap e cagate varie, sono quelli i cantanti che fanno schifo, cantano solo con l’autotune e le loro canzoni sono 100% volgarità, quello è lo schifo non quel ragazzo lì

you're right, in fact every year an Italian singer (who sings in Italian and not English) always arrives in the top 3 of the Eurovision! Mahmood is the latest example, an Italian singer who sings in Italian exploded worldwide!

About Eurovision, not only Italy has not won for 30 years now, but it's a singing contest really out of our times. How many great hits have come out of it recently? None. And let's be honest: Mahmood only won the italian singing festival for political reasons, because of his african origins, in a moment in which the migrant issue was very much felt by the public. Unfortunately the truth of the matter is that Italian music has no place in the international background. The only Italian artists well known outside Italy are Pavarotti (which is dead) and Bocelli. And that says a lot about it.

Well, then a lot of countries are facing difficulties in music at the moment since in a lot of contests from around the world people sing in English. The truth is that English is way easier to sing. Moreover, I agree with you when you say that Italian music has no place in the international background but it seems to me that no music has place around here but the American and the English one and it’s easy to explain that: it’s an international language that anyone can understand and appreciate. Nobody would understand a Russian, Norwegian, Egyptian etc song in its depths but a native speaker or a student of one of these languages. Music is also very related to the traditions of a country which are very “intimate” and personal and it characterizes a population. If English music is suitable for every nation in the world this means that it has nothing that “makes the difference” for what concerns their culture, except for the legends such as Aretha, the queen, Whitney, the Beatles, Frank Sinatra and so on, obviously. In addition to that I also understand why only one of them sang in Italian and that’s Because most of the most wonderful Italian songs are considered “untouchable” and you have to be very careful and peculiar to sing them. That said I have nothing against English songs, in fact I love them but I have to defend the music that runs in my veins because a foreigner can’t judge it with no experience in the field. P.S. Last year Mahmood won Sanremo Because his song was youthful and fresh and if he won this means that Italian music is changing and adolescents have started to get passionate about this important tv program🌟 Other examples of Italian singers famous around the world are Laura Pausini, Eros Ramazzotti and Albano e Romina, singers that I don’t personally love but that are appreciated Spain, Latino America and Russia. Other hint that makes me understand that you only care about American/ English tastes in music
