We had to share this beautiful display of Christmas lights for you all to see filmed via our DJI Mavic Pro 2 Drone flight. If you are in the Lower Mainland, you MUST stop in and see this in person for yourself! Their address is 6369 - 165A Street, Surrey, B.C. There is approximately 164,000 lights in this family's home display!!

Did you sell the house? We went by this past Christmas but no lights were up. We sure appreciated the beautiful work you did on it when you decorated! Best place we have ever seen!!

They use a lift to get up high and wrap strands of lights around each branch.

That is a lot of lights running everyday from around 4pm til 10pm. @@99oildrops yeah it is amazing! They did not decorate this year though, from what a neighbour told me, they had to replace the roof on the house just a week or so ago. @@GoesTo11 That medium clear ~7.5-8 foot tree by the van is probably 700-800 lights. So, you can imagine that the green and clear ones are in excess of 1500. I used to light up a 10+ foot tree that was shaped like a bell/mushroom, and that crossed 1200 mini lights. You needed to run two extensions (top and bottom), because after stringing 900-1000 incandescent, the strand fuses would blow. You could tell what strands were used for the tree the year before, because there would be faint black rings around the bulbs. That thing fried them up. Hahaha When that tree died and was removed, my neighborhood started a Christmas light contest. Now, they want to compete. Go figure. lol I wish this house was in my neighborhood.

@@Polarcupcheck yeah, he was explaining to me about the issues with running heblight strands. Some strands are different power levels and if you mix them up, you'll kill the other strands! He has had all his electrical upgraded to provide sufficient power. I'm sure his electric meter spins so fast you could sharpen your hockey skates on it! LOL I love it when a neighborhood gets in the spirit of it all and lights up. His neighbors homes are all done now, I was there as the neighbors were still setting up. I would agree that sometimes people can add too many things, such as figurines and stuff.
