I have shoveled a lot of snow, most people don't know that snow weighs about 30 pounds per cubic foot. After, shoveling a very large driveway, you have muscles that you didn't even know that you had, will begin hurting. I can't understand how you work so very hard for so very long. You go home and take care of your family. You come back to continue working to finish the work. Anyone who has anything negative to say about your work ethics, work experience and knowledge, should just go pound salt. Your care, respect and willingness to help others to have a new start, keep them from being evicted, or have a safe, healthy, clean and comfortable place to live. I can’t understand why people complain about you not saving enough stuff in such hard conditions. First of all you explained the reasons very well and second of all these cleanings would cost thousands of dollars and you do it for free. Still people are complaining. I think people who want you to wash all the clothes don't understand the realities of NYC. There's no laundry or elevator in that building, which means all laundry has to be physically carried down the street to a coin laundromat (finding street parking would take so much longer than walking), wait 30 mins for the machine, change to the dryers, wait another 45 minutes, carry it all back upstairs. And if there aren't enough open machines to wash all of it at once you have to wait more. And if one trip through the laundry isn't enough to clean it .... repeat. Ain't nobody got time for that.

The reason this channel has my respect, is that she always helps the animals in some way. If she sees a kitty box that needs cleaned or pet beds that need cleaned , she always takes care of it. I appreciate that she helps the adults, but the animals and children have no choices and she always pays attention to them as well. What an amazing clean up job!! Barbie you are a true hero! In regards to reporting families, I looked up the New York state regulations and house cleaners are NOT on the list of mandated reporters. So Barbie is not obligated to report to the authorities, unless she feels it is necessary. Providing practical help is what is desperately needed and that is what Barbie provides.

Please do not feel the need to apologize for not “cleaning.” I found this video very inspiring and I applaud your work! That’s A LOT of clutter to clear. I noticed the cat too. I hope its been to see a vet. Nearly every time i watch one of your videos Barbie, I think that must be the worst apartment but I think this one must be it. Mental illness can't be cured with a clean home but it must go a long way to alleviating the anxiety this mum has suffered. I totally agree about reporting people. Living in filthy homes is not a crime, and separating families does more harm than good. Unless there is a real risk of harm or imminent danger, I totally agree that trust is crucial for giving the help these people need. Cant wait for the follow up next week!

You know, the one thing that I love about you, Barbie. Is that when you go into a place like this? You don't show disgust. You don't show anything but compassion for these people. And that's what I love about you. You have such a big heart and you are there to help. You're not judging you don't judge these people. All you want to do is to help these people get better and for that. I highly respect you. I have been a professional cleaner for over 20 years. And even though I don't go in and do the capacity that you do. I'm going to houses that are already set up and ready to clean. But I have been in homes where I have had to deal. With things like this and it is hard. It's very hard to do. It's not an easy job at all, but it is a rewarding job. When you are able to help someone so for that I respect you so much.

I can't believe the progress you made in three days. My great aunts had a house that looked like this, and it took 13 of us to get through a kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and living room in two days. So that you got as much done as you did is great!

This is not just from depression this is other people's garbage this person brought into the house garbage from the street This person dumped garbage in that house. Barbie you have to be careful for needles and broken glasses. This is not just from depression this is other people's garbage. This is outside garbage she dumped that mess inside of her apartment l. You did the right thing and put it in the garbage. You can not reason with a hoarder you have to decide to remove it without judgment.

Barbie! You are a hero to these people! Before I had a self cleaning oven , I use to put the racks in the bathtub,, cover with hot water and sprinkle baking soap over top,, leave over night ,, they become new again when you wipe them the next day,💕💕
