Oh this was so much fun! I really enjoyed the video! I wish I could've been there! I am a fan of Yayoi Kusama and been to few of her exhibitions but never been to a collab one, this looks interesting. The old collaboration collection was SO much better! This one don't look interesting to be honest with you. I loved the Alma in Yellow but it still not so special (the only special thing is the pumpkin charm that comes with the bags). I agree, the men collection is way better lol
Yep totally agreeing on the collection with you! I remember being in New York in 2012 and seeing the boutique covered in the pattern from the previous Kusama collection - I was hypnotized and… broke student 😅 so I always hoped there will be another chance but this was very disappointing to be honest.. the previous collab was insane. I need to check out her exposition whenever I get a chance! Don’t think I came across any. Didn’t know that your are a fan of Yayoi Kusama! Definitely you would enjoy the boutique in Milan! 💛 the fitting rooms were so fun! Took my time for pictures there 😉
You're so disciplined to not buy anything. I love Kusama and the dots have grown on me. I purchased the black and white Alma BB even though I'm not a huge Alma BB fan, nor an epi fan, but felt it was the safest choice. I am also waiting for the second drop... there is a pumpkin speedy 20 I would love to get. 😊 I would like an SLG, but yes, the premium is crazy, so not sure at this time. Great video and commentary.
Hi 😊 and thank you so much for watching! 💓 I guess I was really expecting something like in 2012 so disappointment took over 😉 but seems like the second drop is more interesting and I’m looking forward to see it too! Alma is a safe choice and I wasn’t a big fan of Epi leather either but since Alma comes in seasonal colors in Epi only I bought two of them and I feel like it’s a process of getting used. To this material, it’s just so different to what we normally experience with leather! I hope you get to use and love yours!
