Hercules, your sink idea is absolutely genius! I love it. You will find all the other parts, too; still have time for hunting. You continue to wow all of us. Lucky lucky Lady Sam, for having such an inventor-creator as a partner. The stone estate just keeps getting better and better!!!
@suzannemckitterick - Doesn't the phrase "separates coming together to make an ensemble [an outfit]" ... in this case, the bathroom sink❗❤❗Yes, indeed: Sean the Inventor-Creator❗Bravo Sean❗Saying hello from San Mateo, CA 🇺🇸
You know it works when you get the Sam seal of approval. Get well soon Sean. Lovely gifts from Sherrie and Michael. May you both always be safe and happy.
Love the sink and the legs are perfect!!! I like the contrast of the painted legs and Sam’s reaction was so great!!! She is a super lovely woman. The watercolors from Sherrie and Michael are beautiful and very special. Many hugs! ❤
Pt #2... Hercules, I applaud your perfect purchase...the new legs you found will be authentic-looking, and leaving them white will work, too. . A masterpiece...I knew you would solve the missing base predicament. What a brain. And you solved it on the same video! I am excited.
I like your sink idea Sean. Love your environmentally friendly property in how you designed it, also the renovations. I love looking through antique shops like you & Sam do.
Hello Sean:) a suggestion for the sink legs. You could round the outside square edges to match the rounded edges of the top piece. I really enjoy seeing your renovations:)
You know Sean, there are a couple of things that I love ! I love the way that you and Sam support each other ! She wasn’t around when you were processing your thoughts on the sink- -yet when she talks to you- She echoed your same thoughts ! 25:26 Two minds -one heart ! And I also love the way that you are redoing the cottage ! There are so many who just hire people -and wham Bam. It looks all new-which I guess is OK if that’s what you like. But I love the way that everything you own is coming together piece By piece. I think it’s exactly how the original owners designed the buildings -you figure out what you love-what you can afford- what techniques you can use- Connected it all together with skill and love- And you have a HOME !! 🏠 There would be so proud of you !
Great sink ensemble and you got the vote that really counts from Sam along with a beautiful smile. Nice of Cherie to send MP prints your way. Cheers from Kansas🍁
That will be an absolutely beautiful & unique sink, Sean! In my opinion, you found the perfect pedestal for the sink top as well! I Look forward to seeing the finished product!! I'm pretty certain it's going to be brilliant!! Blessings to you & your family!! 🇺🇸
Sean, your sink set-up is beautiful. You really have a gift for ways to re-purpose old things. It will be functional, nice to look at and perfect for your old cottage.
I love the sink set up, it will look amazing! Good to see Sam. I’m waiting on prints from Michael. I just love his paintings. So happy to hear you all stay in touch.
Love the idea of the copper sink - Brilliant! 🤩 Try and replace all the leaky roof tiles before winter sets in, you cannot let your hard work be for nothing. Lovely pair of Modern Chairs.
You could take off or alter the top plate on the legs to fit the sink holder top thing so the legs fit the corners? Add a a front and back rail to join the legs
You know Sean…the lamp was spectacular…the only problem with so so many magnificent ancient treasures……I have to put a bandage on my tongue….because it drops to the floor and get splinters!!
I love the sink idea. I would have a small fountain out of the middle with the waste underneath. A bread oven in the shed is a great project. It was very sweet of Sherrie to send the prints. I have 2 of my own. 🙂
Love the sink Sean and a bargain legs you got How lovely that you got sent some.pictures by talented Michael ❤. Love them. Some lovely heavy pots you bought ideal for the cottage and not for sale 😅
I love the copper sink idea💕💕💕💕💕💕👍👍👍. My husband and I collect Aladdin kerosene lamps. They are primarily American but there are a few British lamps also. Love them! The Petherick gifts are awesome. That’s Pip the organ mouse! I bought two prints from them to help with the chapel ceiling repaint.
Sean if you trimmed the overhanging edges of each leg piece ( longways) you could just turn them cut side in, and connect them across the back and front under the scalloped edge
Wanna know something spooky? I was picturing the feet for the 'new' copper sink and look at you, you found just what I was thinking, its going to be so much fun when you get it all assembled.
Strange as it seems the white looks good. Isn't Michael Petherick talented. I bought the Cows and Montgomery print. It will be hung in our house on the farm in South Australia. Love your work Sean
2 suggestions: 1 cut the hole in the dark wood to a larger diameter so the copper bowl sits lower. Don't forget you're going to have to cut a hole in the bottom of the copper bowl for a drain pipe. 2nd suggestion: separate the white legs from the planks currently on top of the legs, then insert the white legs into the dark wood counter top. You're going to have to drill holes into the dark wood counter top to accommodate the faucet pipe(s). I can really see the finished product. Good Luck with the modifications.
I really like your elderly building dream…oh I sure like the pizza oven idea and bread oven…!!!! I’m very sad over the death of the old historic bake building…but life happens doesn’t it?
Focus Sean Focus! 🤣 Love your idea of the copper sink! What a bargain with the wooden legs.. Sam is such a delight, love her excitement over the sink reveal. Take care you two.. until the next one 😉
I really like the sink idea and the spindles. I would leave them white and the top brown. If you want more support, put a cross brace or two in the middle or back, but not in the front. I say “no” to the curtain idea.
