We're super grateful to our good friend Zixin, who invited us with tickets to Hua Chenyu's Mars Concert. It's a proper class show and made for a great evening. I'm Hua Chenyu's newest fan!

Wow this is really an amazing rare content, its so good for you to know about Hua Chen Yu, his music genre is so diverse and really so big in China or in the world, Tickets for his concerts are very hard to get, usually sell out in a second or two. Your friend actually gave you the tickets, which can be said to be very generous
I love the Mars Concert so much. Cause I went 5 times in summer holiday , I had no time to the Bird Nest.😢 what a pity, uh-huh. But I'm so happy you have a good time, it's unforgettable! 😊
I'm here for the concert.I'm glad you can enjoy this with me.I hope this music trip make a good impression on you. im huachenyu's fan,i love his songs ,hope you like these too❤❤❤❤
Hi from The Netherlands! I became a fan of Hua Chenyu 6 years ago and he has become my all time favorite artist for sure. I am so jealous (in a good way!) you got to see him live, wow! I wish I could go too but it's not (yet) in the cards for me. Great vlog, really well done and enjoyable, so thank you for doing this. There are quite a few foreign fan groups on facebook, if you are interested, from all over the world. Also more and more non Chinese fans have discovered him and taking trips to China to see him live. Thanks for a great watch! ❤❤
How lucky you are to have attended Hua Chenyu's concert!! His concerts really the tops in China, excelling in every aspect!! I'm a bit envious of you, haha, because I haven't experienced the stadium version of the Mars concert yet. However, I’ve been to his innovative outdoor mode concerts twice, and they were absolutely amazing! If you get the chance, you must attend this! It Is from afternoon to night, you can just buy some food and drinks, even play some games while enjoying the concert😎 His live performances are incredibly captivating, showcasing his exceptional vocal skills and diverse musical styles. The combination of the concert's visuals, lighting, and stage design made it a real delight! Welcome to Mars family!😁 From a Hua Chenyu fan in Malaysia❤️
I attended the recent sunrise 🌅 Mars Concert you mentioned! It was an incredible experience to watch the sunrise with 130,000 people-it was truly breathtaking, and I was moved to tears in the moment. In fact, the weather forecast had predicted cloudy skies for those days, so both Hua Chenyu and the fans were quite worried about how it would turn out. As this concert was been prepared by Hua Chenyu and his team for three years. I think God recognized the sincerity of over 100,000 people, because the sunrise was absolutely perfect. Paired with the song "向阳而生," it was simply unforgettable.❤
OMG what a great choice. Huachenyu is the best in China. He is an excellent singer and composer, combining traditional Chinese music and western styles, definitely the top. Actually I often fly from Germany to China just for his show😂
Wow such a memorable experience!! Hua Chen Yu is my favourite singer and he and his concert absolutely deserves all of the praise with his high-level performance!! Nice video😍😍
Hi Jack,I'm so surprised you went to Hua Chenyu's Mars concert! I've been looking forward to seeing one for a long time but haven't had the chance😂 I really love the glitter stage lightning, it perfectly matching the lyrics of Warm House, "my playmates always say they want to see a universe filled with stars," just like a starry sky! By the way, this song is about peace and anti-war themes, told from a child's perspective about the changes in the world before and after conflict. I really like it! If you get the chance, you can go to his theme park-style Mars concert. The ticket lets you watch both the afternoon and evening shows. The park offers various food and drinks, and if you have enough time, you can play games and enjoy the art installations in the park. The afternoon show is much more chaotic, you can sit on the lawn, have a picnic, and enjoy his singing, while the evening show is a musical feast. Lastly, thank you for sharing!❤
Really happy for you that you were able to experience one of the best concerts in China! And if you are ever interested, Hua Chenyu also does another form of concerts where he essentially builds a mars concert version of an amusement park - there are two parts of the concert: 1) in the afternoon he would sing mostly acoustic version of his songs, and you can walk around the park to get food and drinks, or just chill out in the nature with music playing at the background (live by Hua haha) 2) at night it’s like the formal performance with the best possible music, sound, stage effects that you can imagine. I would say that is a very unique experience, some may say it sounds similar to a music festival but it is SO MUCH better. Def recommend if you get a chance to do so - this form of concert will likely resume next year and they say it will come with LOTs of upgrades. Hua is one the most incredible artist in China - he writes his own music blending nicely Chinese traditional elements with international influences. He wants to offer the best experience to whoever comes to his concert - and he and his team work so hard to realize this goal. Check out his music on Spotify! His new album is coming end of this year!!!❤
Wow, I’ve got to say, this is one hell of a video. I enjoy watching most of the China travel vlogs from UK vloggers-there are plenty of them around these days-but Jack’s experience is on a whole different level. Sometimes I want something more exciting than just wandering around streets or trying random snacks (not that there’s anything wrong with that and I enjoy those too), and that’s where Jack’s content shines. He’s clearly moved past the entry-level stuff and into deeper, more insightful territory, which I really appreciate. And it looks like Jack’s friend is seriously well-connected, judging by the seat you guys had. Overall, fantastic video-thanks for sharing!
Yeah I was there too! The nest, china's largest and national stadium ,held Olympics. And Hua Chenyu also got the largest population of single concert in China here. It was so fantastic and the best among the concerts I attended before, in or out of China. Such worthing and I’m willing to bear 9 hours fight to Beijing to this concert.
I’m in the concert industry. About 20 years ago China was getting foreigners to go over to handle production … now … they are totally awesome with their own production!
Hua Chenyu's concerts are better than other concerts in China in every way, and he is always coming up with innovative ideas, and the ticket prices are also cheaper, so the organizers of those other concerts and the singers' fans try to get people not to go, so that people will still be willing to pay high prices to see mediocre concerts.
Hi Guys, wow, I'm so envious!! I'm hoping to come to China next year (I live in New Zealand) and attend some of his shows, although I know that they sell out in seconds!. If you go to the Hua Chenyu English Subs website you will see a documentary of the lead up to this concert and how much effort Hua Hua and his crew put into making the concert spectacular. And in a few days they will have the full concert on their website, with English translations.
This concert is absolutely amazing! You are the first foreign vlogger in China who went to a real Chinese concert. This is so exciting! I get goosebumps when the concert started. This is one unique video among all foreign vloggers in China for sure! Hope for more unique, great videos like this one.👍👍
I‘ve been to Hua Chenyu’s Hong Kong Concert. It was a totally different mode concert comparing to traditional concerts held in sport stadium, with a totally different stage and visual design, longer duration, food&drinks&souvenir sold nearby, entertaining facilities and art display. I enjoyed an amazing day. I would like to watch stadium’s mode once in the near future. He’s such an incredible singer with great vocal and originality.
Very unique and interesting content! Clearly you guys have set yourselves apart from the other travel vloggers and I can't wait for your next vids! And Jack, your level of spoken Mandarin is good, considering it being one of the toughest, if not the toughest language.👍
The place where this show was performed is called the Bird's Nest, where the opening ceremony of the 2008 Beijing Olympics was held. The Bird's Nest can accommodate 90,000 people.
Huachenyu is my favorite singer. In May this year, I specifically flew back from the UK to see his concert in Yantai, Shandong. He sang from 3am until sunrise. The scene of 130,000 people witnessed the sunrise together in his singing was incredibly beautiful !!! It’s the most precious memory of my life ❤❤❤
man. That's the VIP ticket. You do have a powerful friend there.. I think this is uinique experience for foreign visitors, which have no idea of Chinese popular music. Yes, that's expansive for fans but also something can not bought with moeny by non-fan.
As a foreign visitor to china. Im from Norway and have been to 3 different Hua Chenyu concerts.. Yantai, HongKong and Beijing. And i will come back for more. I know other chinese music, but most of it sounds way too generic and boring. And it all sounds the same.. Not to my taste at all. So your comment is just stating your opinion.. nothing more
Hua Chenyu's tickets are mostly sold to fans, with a 98% public sale rate. Many fans can get in the first few rows-many of my friends have experienced that. Being in the first few rows doesn't mean VIP seats. If you can grab the ticket fast enough, it's 1280RMB. They don't sell tickets to ticket scalpers, and fans don't have to pay extra for front rows.
