Hey, I have a suggestion for videos. As I am a young and amateur angler, I would like some tutorials on how to fish specific baits. What to use when, how to use it, and where to cast with it. It would be greatly helpful, and I think it would help your channel. Thanks man, love your vids!
1Rod1ReelFishing I used to love fishing as a kid. My dad would take us to the beach to fish off the piers. Got away from it for nearly 20 years. Started watching you 3 years ago and been bass fishing ever since. My 5 year old son loves it too. He catches more than me sometimes! good to see you back!
So glad you're back buddy, hope all is well with the baby and momma bear! Always happy to see a new 1Rod1Reel notification, cheers brotha thank you for your continuing tips and encouragement!
First found your channel months ago when researching whether I should bring my tackle on my next trip to DC. I've subscribed back then and now you go back to the basin, which is great to see. My trip to DC is finally coming up in about two weeks and I can't wait! Keep it going, Mike! Regards from Switzerland
Glad you're ripping it up and fishing again. I know you're a real fishaholic, going and working the mess that is D.C. show's you've got the fever. Tight Lines.
Another great vid. Love the way you list out the gear and then demo the techniques. There is no way better to teach and were hear to learn. Love the explanations of what how and why. Matches how I and a lot of other people learn.
I caught my first bass since last fall on a crankbait! I am going to Texas tomorrow for spring break so I can’t wait to see what that brings me! Thanks so much for the videos 1rod! You’re the best!
Im so happy your making videos again man. You remind me of myself cause I get just as excited when I hook a fish lol I hope you inspire these younger generations to grab a rod and get out there
1rod1reelfishing could u do a video all about baitcasters and what works good with it and what doesn’t and so on like what line to use and lures and stuff
I went on vacation there and went on a paddle boat in the basin. It reminded me of your video when you went for snake head at on of the bridges. Nice to have you back
I live in dc bro! Your in one of the best places to fish. So many different bridges, waterways, and streams. The Zoo is also a great place. I've caught Largemouth, Smallmouth, Stripers, Gar, Catfish, Shad, bluegills, Snakehead ect.
Nice trifecta my man, I have learned so much from watching you, you are one of the best fishing enthusiast in the world and I hope that you can continue this channel for many years to come.
lol you were slaying them with the crazy hooksets then the king of foul hooking (not negative) shows up lol. Awesome vid as always. I was a bit confused with the lady walking up as well until i realized she was giving you something and realized it wsa for donation. Stay safe out there bro
I was watching your video how to fish a senko the other day and I went out to the lake and skipped my senko on top of the water. Caught a handful of fish. Thanks!
Yes the Sakura trees were a gift of peace to the United States after the Atomic bomb dropping’s in Japan. History has it that after the drops the Japanese culture fought for months to restore itself and rebuild its economy which in turn kept them away from malicious war. Japan is a very friendly and happy country now. If you travel there indulge in their culture and enjoy the festivals. Ganbatte
Great vid! When I was in DC for the Cherry Blossoms about 2 weeks ago, I noticed "no fishing" signs along the Tidal Basil. I guess there are areas where you can do it. Definitely, I will try!
