Great to see a club water that's not been overtaken by the "stock everywhere with carp and F1s" brigade! Now, I am a fan of carp and F1s in the right setting but too many clubs have gone down this route and I think it's a great shame. Great video, well shot and edited! Thank you!

Great venue it's just a lovely place for a few hours fishing 🎣 my local love this place just a ten minute drive away I've been a member for a few years now there's six pond's with a mixed bag of fish 🐟 from carp tench and silver fish 🐟 👍😊

Brings back great memories. one of the venues i started fishing on when i was a kid. Sliding down the steep bankings back then, 2.30am on opening day of the season. Not sure if it was part of Yorkshire that had the stolen fortnight(opened 1st June) or you had to wait to the 16th?. Bit complicated back then Never caught a lot tbh, but one year had a massive 3lb Perch. Whatever, happy days & looks a lot different today. Might go back one day, probably wont as i dont want to spoil my memories of the place.

We used to poach this place regular back in the 70's it was even nicer back then totally unspoilt , and when i got working and earning saved up enough to join the phoenix club so young and naively sent cash to the good honest above board club and never heard owt ever again , 25 quid went into someone's pocket I'm guessing and left a sour taste in my mouth to this day 🤬
