I'm always amazed that half way through the video, it's still looking dubious. And then, like magic, the scene miraculously takes shape. I love your concept of an unpolluted natural environment, right down to the mossy rocks. My first project includes a river running through cliffs so am anxious to use your techniques. It would've been good to see more of the whitewater creation and longer end reveal. Thank you for providing these great tips and secret ideas. Love the trees. So lifelike.

The plaster like mix you used reminded me of tuna salad both in it's texture and the way it spread. I thought it was important and you that you should know for whatever reason.

I absolutely love your models!! I’ve begun watching a ton of these recently and I’ve found that your models are by far my favorite. They have some sort of extra feeling to them, I can’t quite describe it. I’ve watched other models such as Luke Towan’s, and they’re great, but they seem a little... sterile? I guess?? I love that you speed up your videos to only show the necessary bits and your end results are always stunning. Keep up the fantastic work!!!

Why don't you make a mega diaroma project combining all the diaromas you have created.... Kind of a fantasy world with different areas...... Just a suggestion.... Great work BTW..... Love from India...... Peace... Without religion

you should've sealed the fibers with some type of gloss i didn't like the look i see what you where going for but it didn't turn out that great you could really tell what you used the fibers where really visible and you went a little heavy on the moss on the trees and rocks a smaller amount would've gave a more realistic look

Maybe you've answered this before but, why use white primer rather than something dark? Thanks.
@HighEyeWorkshop
@HighEyeWorkshop 4 года назад
I actually use black now. I used white then because I tended to paint rocks in thin washes. Now I use a blending technique with overwashes.

can I ask how much make a diorama like this cost(everything included)?
@HighEyeWorkshop

I buy the materials in bulk, so it's hard to say. Probably no more than £10, but you would have to buy a lot more materials than you would actually use.

The trees would’ve looked more realistic if they were bent or twisted. Too linear. Otherwise, the rest was beautiful.

C'mon, model folk, also generally referred to as "makers" - show some originality and imagination. When are you dum-dum diorama folk gonna start with the "alien landscapes"? Do I have to think of everything? Don't reply if you have zero imagination. "What a great idea, I'll be the first in YT and I'll get rich and famous...".
