I'm too busy screaming just as loud as that sound to be hearing the roar when you leave the launch area. Cause I'm feeling the entirety of the 4.8 Gs. So I congratulate you for being able to keep enough calm to hear it on ride. lol
This is my all time favorite straight roller coaster. The mix of the cue, the roar as you get launched, the soundtrack, and the smoothness of the actual ride is such a great experience!
Only two rides made me slightly cry out of happiness, The Hulk just by it's awesomeness and Steel Vengeance for being too intense Edit: Will Point out, The Excitement could also be from the Fact it was Negative 20 in Detroit and was Glad to be in Florida :P
Florida Mercenary nah not really I felt like I was gonna fall off tigirs whatever it’s called I forgot the name but I’m a small skinny type of person and my nose was hurting after it but bush gardens does have some good roller coasters
My story on how I got on this My friend invited me to go to universal with her and I said yes. The problem was, I hated rollercoasters but I knew universal is a thrill park. We went on the forbidden journey and I’m like okay that was fine. Next we went on the hulk. I didn’t want to seem super scared so I tried not to cry and focused on everything but the ride. When we were all strapped in and it started going up, I was thinking “what have I gotten myself into”. It shot us out and holy crap, it was amazing. We went on everything else in the park that day except for rip ride rockit, dr. doom, and water rides. Now I love rollercoasters. If any of you are scared about going on this ride, don’t be. It’s one of the best things you’ll ever do
Rip ride rock it is sooooo good bro you need to try it but dr doom is scary af I don’t recommend it while I’m as on the dr doom I got a cramp bc how fast you flew up
@@TostrBath I’m super scared of the hulk and the rip rockit, I went a few weeks ago and I did go on dr doom. It wasn’t that bad but I’m going again in a few days, I’m so nervous!!
The way you managed to get the music so perfectly makes this one of my favorite videos of all time. I used to ride the Hulk quite regularly when I worked at UOR and I miss it so much. Thank you for sharing

@@melissascloset9041 same! It's my first big rollercoaster hahaha But I never closed me eyes, and was even nicer that around 5pm, the line was about 5 minutes, so I rode 3 times in a row hahaha
I remember riding it when it first opened. My kids and I were lucky to be in front. I’m thinking to myself, this is really slow going up, is there something wrong with the ride then....whoosh!!! 😂
This Ride changed my view on Coasters. I used to be afraid to ride Woody Woodchuck's nuthouse coaster, but wow, just Wow. I have no words for how incredible it is.
If you haven’t ridden this because you are scared, trust me. This ride is so smooth and so fast. You barely even feel the inversions. About a week ago I wasn’t a big coaster guy and was nervous about every ride. This ride changed that for sure. If you haven’t, ride it. You won’t regret it.
Yeah but thay launch! Inversions have never scared me. I can't stand the sensation that I'm going to be thrown out of the coaster (what's that called- negative Gs? )!
@@daducknfrog6673 They retracked the entire ride. They also added onboard audio and upgraded the themeing. Unfortunately they filled the new track with sand which killed the B&M roar.
I cried right when me and my sister got on the ride, I am panicking and wanted to get out, but I ended up loving it and the hulk is now my favorite ride
Gabriela Gonzalez-orbegoso is it worth it, I’ve never gone on a roller coaster that was outside, only the inside ones, I’m curious on how the ride is cause im going on this next year in September when i go to Florida.
@@whosliany Ik I’m late too but I was terrified. If I were you I would just ignore the situation and strap in and not talk until you go in the tunnel. Then you won’t be as scared and still enjoy the ride.
Holy crud I just went on this for the first time and it’s one of the most addictive rides I’ve ever been on! We rode it twice but I swear I could’ve gone 5 more times. The nice thing about it is, it’s smooth and almost peaceful in a weird way. I feel like I actually COULD ride it over and over again and still feel okay. Meanwhile I also went on Rip Ride Rocket for the first time on this same trip and it hurt my head so much that after one time I felt like I was done with rides for the DAY.
This was my first ever crazy roller coaster but let me tell you that i crapped my pants and absolutely enjoyed it. That roar in the beginning and music were too epic
My first roller coasters I’ve been on that went upside down I almost had a panick attack waiting in line and I was so scared going up but honestly the scariest part is the launch the rest of the ride was incredible and this is coming from a person who was scared of the kiddie rides don’t be scared to go on this I got over my fear of roller coasters from this masterpiece.
i loved this ride! for anybody who’s unsure about the loops.. it’s so worth it! and i couldn’t even feel the drop. it’s amazing it just feels like your flying!!
Is it more intense than the Mummy? I can barely ride the Mummy which is why I’m terrified of the hulk. I’ve heard ppl tell me it’s way more intense and others tell me the Mummy is worse because you don’t feel anything on the hulk.
This ride is SO FUN the first time I went on it we went on it 8 more times lol we just couldn’t stop every twist and turn is so fun and the music just makes the ride “The Hulk” I recommend everything about this ride and I can’t wait for the new Jurassic park/world ride to open HYPE.
I’ve always loved Universal so much and was forced to ride the Mummy but it turned out to be my favorite ride. Then was so excited to ride Hagrid’s when it opened and then that was my favorite ride, but after that I felt brave enough to ride Hulk and absolutely loved it! It was my roller coaster (cuz i don’t really count Mummy or Hagrids as “rollercoasters”) I haven’t ridden any others yet but it definitely makes you want to ride every rollercoaster. But now Hulk is my favorite ride at Universal, with Hagrids as a close 2nd.
@@andybandy4662 I think you definitely should!!! The speed is just as fun on this as on hagrids and honestly you’re going so fast that the drops don’t even really effect your stomach, and I didn’t believe anyone when they told me this before I rode it, but whenever you go upside down it honestly doesn’t feel any different than the rest of the ride. Plus, there’s hardly any times on the whole ride that you can actually see how high up you are. It’s so much fun 🙂
That looks pretty fun. And that combination of the twist and fall right at the start with the music was pretty good. I think the music really helps to make the ride more exiting.
I remember when my mom first rode this, she didn’t even expect the launch! My family and I are going this summer, and it’ll be my first time. This and Velocicoaster is all that I’m looking forward to!
This was my very first roller coaster when I was in 4th grade. The park was just doing soft openings (Seuss Landing wasn't even done yet) and I was afraid of heights and wouldn't even get on the local mine train coasters, but peer pressure got to me and I caved. I'm so glad I did, the rush was amazing and I immediately jumped on Dr. Doom right after with no hesitation. Thanks Hulk for sparking my love of theme parks.
The fact that this coaster has great theming and a vertical launch makes it my favorite coaster so much fun, it’s like a mixture between Apollo’s charriot and the smiler perfect blend
One of the few coasters I’m happy with their mid break run. Gets super head smashing right after those brakes. Couldn’t imagine how bad its be without the slow down
SO GLAD THEY CHANGED THAT VOICEOVER IN THE TUNNEL. I USED TO RIDE & BE LIKE...THERES SO MUCH THEY COULD DO IN THE TUNNEL. BUT THIS IS ANOTHER REASON WHY I LOVE UNIVERSAL CAUSE "THEY BE ON IT"
I went in islands of adventure and I rode this ride about seven times while my trip there. The roar, the music, the smoothness and rush of the ride is absolutely amazing. I fell in love with it. Best ride ever.
My fam just went here. I loved it so much, and there are like, no lines! We rode it more than 3 times! I really liked how your video reminds me of the incredible fun this ride is. The music really adds a good touch.
For those of you who are scared to ride it. Just know, only the first launch is what you feel. After that, it’s smooth from there. I’m being dead serious. You don’t feel the loops, or the giant hills much because your already going the speed. It’s like when you speed up in a car- you feel if for a few second but then your body gets used to the speed. So go and give this a shot.
Take it from me as someone who recently rode it, it’s WICKED fun. I feel the biggest part of the ride for me was that first roll when you get shot out the tunnel, the inversions felt incredible but nothing hits more than that first launch! Took me by genuine surprise and I’m someone who loves roller coaster rolls😂
Ah yes my number 1 coaster between the 4 different parks I've been to so far. You know the ride is good when you can watch this video and still remember exactly what it feels like by memory being on the ride.
We rode this last Thursday morning. I am 44 years old and this was probably the best coaster I had ever been on.......until we walked around the lake and road Velocicoaster! Both amazing rides, but Velocicoaster is on another level.
Went on this yesterday- first big roller coaster I've been on. I have to say, it's brilliant!!! If you're new to this, this is a good one to start off with.
10/10 this ride is!! Love the upgrades that have been made over the years but I sure do miss the old tunnel countdown.. As you left the station you could hear “I think this time it’s going to work... WARNING..3..2..1 *Hulk screaming* and blast off!!!
I ride the Haulk before but the new one with the new effects on the tunnel and the fact that you ride with an amazing song is one of the best!!! Awesome ride I can’t get tired of it!!!
