I'm losing my mind here in Central MN waiting for ice! finally we had a little shore line ice, paper thin! I think its finally forming! Can't wait to get on the lakes fishing and your videos have me pumped for this seasons trophys and tight lines!
Trout fishing is my favourite it reminds me of my grandfather who taught me to fish when I was five now I am 16 and a young man and I enjoy the nature especially while trout fishing thanks for making this video!!
I'm happy to see both of you having a blast on the ice. Hopefully this will continue throughout this season! Cold water trout, native or stocked, is delicious. Just not the greatest with coatings is all. I love those catch and cook coatings on pike, walleye, and burbot though! And that reminds me that I need to order some more!

When you do the mega live review can you mention what transducer pole your using. I just got my mega live ice conversion kit and I’m not really sure if I like Humminbird’s giant pole. I honestly think they just used a minnkota trolling motor shaft. 🤣 another thing I did right away is made a pouch for the transducer out of an old pair of neoprene waders. Don’t really need that thing bouncing around a sled. Thanks for uploading actual footage of mega live in use it’s way better than I was expecting for image quality so that’s good to see.

Hey Jay, you said you are not a fan of eating lakers. Try cooking it in a foil pouch with butter and brown sugar. My wife is the same way and she loves it!
Ok guys, got a mind blowing story for you. Here in Utah one of our lakes 30 min from me DWR did a fish study and netted some fish. One net yielded a 18 lb tiger trout, another net yielded an 8 lb Brooke. All released unharmed. The tigers stomach contained 3 rainbows about 10" a piece. I love your channel ❤. Be safe always
