Is anyone else mesmerised by the set up? The lighting, the glare from the window, the image detail and sharpness, the lights beaming down on the objects on the shelf, the light on the picture frame. So much attention to detail has been put into this clip, I don't think you can appreciate it enough. Can't wait for the new studio tour!!!!
Nah. Skins tones and colors just seem off. The contrast looks pull off by too much. It's a nice room because of the brick, but in terms of this video, it looks off.
Damn I am loving how much content you are bringing out! there was a dry patch for so long and I legit felt lost, but glad you are all back and uploading!
If you skip the advertising, there’s not much content. Sorry for the negative review. If you know Photoshop or Lightroom, this is a basic vid! Still, I love your enthusiasm!!
I use Lightroom all the time and had no idea about subject and object isolation in the gradient tool. Love this vid! Sometimes I just get into the habit of doing what I’ve always done so these vids are great for people like me.
the moment he uploaded something educational, that I used to watch when I got my first camera. I couldn't stop myself to click the video and watch all of it !! It's good to be back again :) !!
A basic Lightroom tutorial with Artlist Sponsorship AND Lut Plug, how could i ever thank you Pete. Feels like your'e running out of ideas and just commercialising these Videos. I kid of course. Big Fan.
I would also recommend adding more Luminance to Midtones, and if you want a bit less grainy look, you can take off a bit of Texture instead of pushing grain that high🙂 Btw awesome film shots from F1🔥
Idk what happened but RU-vid just completely stopped showing me your videos. I just came across your threads and it jogged my memory. I forgot how much I loved your style of video. 💛
After all these years a two minute Tuesday (or Thursday lol) vid puts the fattest smile on my face - this was a dope one Pete! I just bought a Fuji x-s20 to try and get some clean film looking pics, maybe I should have waited to buy the new v5 presets instead haha
Great tip! I love the masking tools in Lightroom these days. They have become so incredible. I barely use global adjustments anymore. Basic adjustments and then mask everything lol.
Aghh, I hate to be that person who does this, but what is going on? I've watched this channel for years and seeing the progression was inspirational, but now it feels like Pete's clutching at straws. I get the creative jump to Leica but it probably alienated a massive part of the audience because Leica’s are pricey! Then it jumps to film because that’s the wave, but it’s late to catch the wave and that audience have a complete other area of RU-vid to look at, and now back to two minute Tuesday's because I assume numbers are dropping, either that or I’ve missed something. I get that this is a part of your living, but you’re a creative bloke, throw some of that back in the mix, the people are still here for it, mate!
Hi Peter! Seeing this video makes me think of something I've always wondered: What is your workflow coming home after a shoot, being it something planned, a nice walk or a quick shot in the back yard. I love taking photos, but struggle with getting them out there. They're essentially stuck on my sd card and if they get off of there, they will live in backups but are rarely edited (I'm in the process or learning to edit in lightroom). Often I feel like there's little point because it's too late, pictures are not relevant anymore. So I'm curious how you manage this, offloading the pictures, organisation, editing, uploading to socials/sending to friends or clients
Love all of your videos! I've taken up photography as a hobby and I am learning so much from you and other photographers. Photography is an expensive hobby and I bought what I afford when I started. I am rocking the Nikon D70 and it can take some brilliant photos but I can see where 6MP has it limitations. It would be great to see a video about the pros and cons of DSLR's from 5, 10, or 15 years ago and when it might be time to upgrade! Keep up the great work!
