@@GregoryWingmaster prove me wrong. I have built an flown ultralight aircraft for the last 30 yrs. Weight shift and conventional. Put your hand outside a car going 60 mph. It's hard enough to control that. Now look how big one of your wings are. Think about it.

@@Mike588 I think you might have misunderstood. Sounds like you both are saying the same thing. As a hang glider pilot, I can tell you that there's NO WAY this is going to work repeatedly if at all. I can't see what's keeping the wings from folding upwards, but I'm sure they won't pass a high G force test. No guy wires that I can see. The wings appear to be from a double surface hang glider like a Sport 2 or even a T2? I'm sure you know that as well. Many happy landings mate.

Or perhaps, filling the gap between the pilot's/designer's ears would bring about a more desirable outcome ...

@@GregoryWingmaster sorry, but nobody has the strength to control each wing independently. That's why we fly with ridged wings, with smaller mechanical operated control surfaces.

my new version actually has smaller, lighter wings.....more wind and more control is my aim

sure, absolutly....my present design is leaning more toward a backpack structure with two modern windsurfers as wings...they are extremely light and strong

Thanks Debbi, im not jumping off any cliffs with prototypes....I reserve that for my hang gliding....as for stability, which was the object of that test, you will see that the wings return to central position every time I move them, demonstrating static and dynamic stability....and who told you that bog rogs are more stable....they have a very narrow stability envelope.

im holding the wings in that video...it wasn't difficult...the wings ate stabile in flight position.....steel cables are carrying my weight

Hi Jaeebz. thanks for the interest...I would love to compare notes with you sometime....My new prototype is nearly complete, and I cant wait to test it in the thick coastal air.....all carbon fibre and hanglider parts....canter levered wings that hold themselves up without wind....using springs to get a 'pogo stick; or trampoline' effect is definitly on the cards.....also a very slight degree of pitch instability is involved. Just like with walking. as you catch yourself whilst falling forward and thereby move with ease....with flapping I will flap down to catch flipping over backwards from rearward CoG...being able to sweep wings for and aft as well as angle of attack both differential and collective....gives an incredible amount of control.....

neither would I........thats hang gliding....done that many times.....use a hang glider for 'cliff jumping'

the wings sweep forward and back, this pitches up and down very effectively

i felt what its like to control wings like a bird.....not with a stick or by pushing my weight around....feeling the wings as limbs is AWESOME......thats what I needed from that....things arent perfect first time.....see Space x approach to doing something new. Build it then try it and see what it does...compare result to desired outcome.....make changes...try again......repeat
