God damned do I love Maximum the Hormone! Nothing quite like metal and hardcore punk for unmatched energy. Nice reaction. The guitarist and drummer are brother and sister. The song is about the guitarist getting bullied at school and his sister trying to help him. It's about his anger and want for vengeance but then becomes focused on him maturing and learning to let it go rather than let it define him. Maybe some Hanabie, Nemophila, Broken By The Scream in the future :D ? @@crowpivion In Japanese rock and metal music (and this is the main music of Japan) there are two features - the first is the mixing of genres, they don't care about traditions, and it is quite possible to find a song where 4-5 genres are mixed (I heard metalcore EDM, jazz rap with rock elements, heavy metal with electronics). The second is the use of reverse psychology, you expect one thing, but get something completely different (for example, you expect a chorus in a song, but there is none. Or a cute girl in a pink dress comes on stage and starts singing with a low growl) I don't know what genre you like, but if you tell me, I can recommend bands, I've been interested in this for a year and a half )
@@user-ii1ke9ex4u I'm interested top to bottom because of the exact things you were writing about. I like the fact that in Japan they experiment and don't stay under the umbrella of uniformity too much. I'm still always open to suggestions about other bands.
