Patrick how about making a documentary about the great newly found welo opals from Ethiopia ? There is almost nothing to find as a good documentary about them yet.
For that first one, it probably had lots of sand pits throughout, so you switch to a diamond burr setup and carve out the bad stuff and then use various polishing paste to polish yhe dips and holes. It's not mine, but I've worked some smaller pieces like that. It is a beauty!
