Anyone remember Home Improvement? Tim the tool man Taylor when he does the grunting noise? Haha This video provokes that reaction for me 😉 dang I love the classics!
this goes out to someone that said this was an awesome show this f****** show is a f****** waste bunch of f****** n***** car yes I'm a guy riding a bike f****** retards in the f****** wheelchair give me a f****** break very misleading title
Tupac Spock I believe it is to enclose a blower & I had to kind of giggle at that monstrosity as well! I used to run a '68 Camaro SS a long, long time ago & I {being only 5' 2"} truly had to sit on pillows to see over the stock hood & reach the peddles! Got a good giggle at the end line when I took the little boys' dollars! Boo Yah! & here's a friendly hint gentlemen...when a lady picks you up in her car & you see a roll cage & 5 points, I totally do NOT recommend asking if 'She can drive a stick'. Namaste all!
Yes Maggie hit the nail on the head :) Thats hood scoop is to help keep the super charger or a blower cool & and dirt and dust free a lot of people try and cover them just to keep the shinny chrome hidden ~I have worked in a couple hot rod shops doing custom work motor, tranny, body, and kits...Some people just love a big ass motor but don't want it to be seen ......Now the way I look at it,...Is well if they have a mail box that big or getting UPS boxs bought of E Bay ........Pmsl Thanks for the Great video DtRockstar1
Its for aerodynamics - @ speed it actually creates boost. @ 180Mph a hayabusa motorcycle makes 4 lbs of boost all in its design, the scoop on the camaro is the same principal. If the car was supercharged you would see it, more then likely its a turbo set-up judging by the location of the exhaust.
DtRockstar1 Its was awesome!!! A lot of loud cars this year. I think the large snow fall kept some of regulars away. There was 1971 Chevelle that always would stand out. It was black and silver.. it in one my older vids.I was looking forward to seeing it, but the guy wasn't there this year.
MBC22CE You do have a point on the weather scaring some people off. There didn't seem to be as many cars driving out this year, and hardly any of them were the highly customized one's. I'm sure the weather has a lot to do with it - no one wants to drive their expensive custom cars in the snow/salt, even if it's just going around the block. But nonetheless, the show was kickass!
Title should be - Parade of incredible cars - i only saw a few "musclecars" the term is for american built cars from late sixties to early seventies that had larger and more powerful engines than normal, there are some very nice cars in the vid, and you can obviously see the time and money spent. But a Lotus ,an Anglia ,or an Olds cutlass on big wheels are not musclecars . . .streetmachines, hotrods, classics-sure . R/T challenger ,Boss429 Mustang, ...those are musclecars . The 69 camaro with wheelie bars is a pro-mod .sure, lots of power, but not a "musclecar" , neat video ,thanks for posting
+Jeff Fothergill finally someone that understands the true meaning of muscle car, thank you 1964 gto was considered the first and the last were made around 1972
So they were driving out of the Detroit Autorama. May I ask, was there high security to guard against stealing cars, and crime? Detroit is the most wicked city in America.
It definitely has the reputation as such, but not all of Detroit is bad. I think it gets that reputation because Detroit is not really a happenin' place like LA or Vegas, so we only hear about the bad areas. There are certainly parts of Detroit that you NEVER want to go near, but the area of this building is pretty nice. Plus, there are so many people at the Autorama that it would be foolish to even try to steal something.
that 1941 pro mod willys whoop some but at Milan michigan every first Friday of each month with nitrous he the fastest don't care what anybody say #Brandon Wakelings
