To me they are the most beautiful of all the fish species. I remember catching one a little over 10lb from the River Ouse back in 1976, I was 15 years old. I’ve caught some fine fish over the years but to me this barbel was the most beautiful I had ever held. Tight lines.

alright lads great video again! just want to add I'm from Hereford and have a large stretch of wye in my area ;) in my experience when the wye is high and coloured the fishing can be incredible. next time in your in this area give me a shout would love to have a session with you! tight lines fellas !!
