Thank you so much for putting our little town on your channel. I am the person that cooked your meal at the Riverboat restaurant in Hagerman,ID. Thank you for the compliments as well. Have fun at n your future adventures.
Agreed. Yall are super cute and thank you for keeping it real. If you ever come to south texas- San Antonio- which has plenty of great hill country views- you have a place to stay!
Honestly, Eric and Alison, a lot of the time your videos are more interesting and entertaining than even some of the new movies and tv shows coming out. Keep doing what you’re doing. I much appreciate your letting us (armchair) travel along with you on your cheery adventures!
If this doesn't look exactly like what you envisioned when traveling with Ruby and Clementine then your 'envisioning' was out of whack :) All your perseverance and hard work has gotten all 4 of you into the perfect location and shows how patience pays off.
We've been saying that a lot lately - we're finally traveling with our gals and having amazing adventures like we always hoped/planned. 🙌 It definitely took us a bit longer than we thought to get here, but we're appreciating every minute!
In the 1930s somehow a bunch of cowboys managed to get a poker table up on top of balanced rock using ropes and played cards. I have seen the old black and white picture years ago. My Dad was raised in Castleford near where the Balanced Rock campground is. I worked for the world's largest Rainow Trout in Buhl Idaho which is between Hagerman and Twin Falls for 44 years. I agree Rainbow Trout is delicious. Next time you come through Buhl, stop and have Ice Cream at Cloverleaf Creamery. Best Ice cream ever! They still sell their milk in glass bottles. Family ran Operation and they also milk the cows. Great place and the nicest people in the world!
I enjoy all the history and added information you talk about at locations. It's nice you're not just seeing places to mark them off a map but really learning and experiencing them! Wishing you more happy adventures!!!
I can't get enough of the stuff to do in Southern Idaho and it just seems like the perfect storm after all the trials and tribulations that everybody is together finally
I believe Schaeffer‘s Oil Company in St. Louis still offers their Black Beauty grease which they sold to settlers back in the day to grease their wagon axles as they were heading west. The oldest oil company in the US. Great video👍
Hi Allison and Eric. I love watching your video's. I'm so happy your back with Clementine and Ruby. Let the good times roll. Safe travels and Hugs to you both 🤗 🤗
HEY we've been to the EXACT campground! It was beautiful for kayaking along the Snake. When my partner and I stayed, we found a decade old hidden note, in the very last overhang campsite above the benches 😊 Many other travelers had shared their positive encouragement and stories to from their stay. May the chance anybody else see this, know the secret and maybe go search for it yourself! ❤
If you stop in St. George, Utah-that’s where we are staying for the next two months in our RV! We are native Utahns and love it here. The weather is lovely down here right now. Love seeing my part of the country represented. I hope you have a great time.
So glad you’re enjoying Idaho! I’m a native and it truly is a hidden gem :) the north and south are complete opposites! Also, pretty much no where in Idaho is ever wall to wall with people :)
Making me so hungry!! I love fish n chips and will go out of my way to try the best of the best. Ugh I can't wait to see your Utah adventures !! That is one of my biggest goals for the next few years, to get out to Utah and visit all the beautiful places.
If you want to continue your adventure in Utah, then I highly recommend that you take highway 128 from Moab. Follow the Colorado River to the Fisher Towers. Thank me later😊.
We just took a road trip to Wyoming and stopped at Mt Rushmore and there was only one other group of people there because it was like 20 outside. But it was worth it. 😊
Coming soon, the road to Utah. Stay out of the mountains because I've heard there's lots of snow and more to come. Clementine looks good and cozy, towing Ruby around. Glad to learn you're warm inside and the generator is powered up. I LOVE your new jacket and the beautiful colors looked good on you. Rocks are falling, is that like a time shifter when it erases your log-in from the 1800's? Hmmm, something to think about. Right? 🤔
I haven't been to Balanced Rock in years but love stopping at the park to enjoy the beauty of Salmon Falls Creek and the area around Balanced Rock. My friend and I are headed to Jackpot from the Boise area so might have to take a detour depending on weather. We just had snow for several days but it has since melted but you never know with Idaho weather. Enjoying your videos!
That surf and turf looks delicious! That campsite is very nice too! Clementine and Ruby look so inviting! Idaho rainbow trout too!! You guys did a really superb job on this episode! 🍺🍺
I was able to kinda meet you when you moved out of the balanced rock camp ground. I was the guy with the Hiker Square drop that jumped in your spot. You guys were very kind. Love your character!
I've lived about 20 years in Montana and 20 in Idaho. I am honestly astonished that you decided to spend so much time in Idaho when you clearly just skirted a tiny portion of Montana. While each have their merits, y'all did Montana dirty.
I used to live about 12 miles from balanced rock. we would go there pretty regularly. balanced rock was actually vandalized around 1920. someone tried to blow up the base with dynamite, but it didn't go all the way through. it was later repaired. the acoustics in the park are wild.
Absolutely love the Koozies! Thanks for the entertainment and showing us the beauty of The States. You guys do a tremendous job! All the behind the scenes stuff is great, shows the reality of what you guys have to go through to provides quality content.
I live in Oregon and the two of you have made me want to explore my surrounding areas even more! I also have an old rv and I love what you said about people turning around when they see your rig. They will assume it’s crappy inside or criminals. The looks are truly the only defense we truly have. And you two can definitely do a week off the grid! I did it last summer in 100+ degree weather for 8 days. With no air conditioning. River and lakeside camping take care of water needs because I have filters. I don’t use my house battery unless absolutely necessary if I’m stationary. I hate filling up my waste tank because my 1978 rv only has one tank for everything. I mostly potty outside with the animals and put a basin in my sink to catch wastewater that can be tossed. Slowroamer has an old rig in the desert and is never on the grid. I haven’t driven my rv to Utah, but I have a feeling that you two are going to make me wanna change my plans!
Love Idaho! Have been to all the places you are showing on this video. We actually saw the base jumpers off the Perrine bridge…..It was awesome! Hiked to the balanced rock also. Along that road there was a museum of dinosaurs excavated from the area. Saw Register rock also. There is so much history…
Please, please never hesitate to cut to you guys bungee jumping. Man, I never realized how mountainous Idaho was, though I guess that makes sense! So dang beautiful.
Another fantastic episode! Admire watching your travels in the cold! Van looks so good, glad you’re making the most of it! Never miss your adventures, always interesting to us from Melbourne Australia!
my first video watched my observation is the lady is very wholesome person make me feel happy to see her happy nice vibe lovely stuff proper fish n chips round my way pop over.
In my 27 years living in France (originally from the UK) I've only found decent Fish & Chips in a restaurant here ONCE... and that was last September. Holly"s Diner is an American themed chain over here in the hexagon (France). Ironic huh? Loving the videos as always. Nice to sit here and dream in the currently unsettled and stormy Paris region. Bonne route. 👍
Best fish n chips ever for me was Folkestone England it was so fresh you could not only taste the sea it was falling apart in your fingers with freshness
One of my favourite videos from you guys. I knew nothing about Idaho's landscape so it was really interesting to see some of that scenery. And that was one cool park-up.
Found your channel through a Newsbreak article. Im so happy you've found some bliss in our little corner of the world here in Idaho. Hagerman is such a great area and a cute town. They have tiny cabins you can rent and that restaurant you went to is amazing. If you go to the fish hatchery there they have an open tank of trout and Sturgeon. You are actually allowed to pet the Sturgeon. They swim to the surface and come right up to you. Their skin feels like neoprene. I actually grew up in Rigby, Idaho. Our claim to fame there is "The Birthplace of Television" as Philo T. Farnsworth invented the picture tube at Rigby High School. Anyway, im a new fan of your channel. So happy you enjoyed your stay in Idaho.
Idaho is a great state to off-grid travel. Your's is the second review of this awesome little camp spot that I've seen in the past few months. Book-marking it for the next time I'm going thru that area. Great content lately, keep it up.
