I just got this, I am impressed, ok its not all that big so you have to limit your expectations but for its price and size it is an awesome speaker. I was worried about lack of bass and out of the box I was happy, it I will admit at higher volumes the bass is limited but again …. Look at the size
If the handle had metal loops on it for a shoulder strap, it would be amazing but . . . . . . . You can't just give us such a great feature, like that, with the motion boom plus and then take it away with the newest installment.

I’d definitely recommend the sigma. I have a video comparing the 2 lenses on my channel, and the sigma wins hands down. The newer version is even better. Definitely the sigma.
How punchy is it? Sounds like the spatial audio is sacrificing that punchy sound but I'm listening these reviews through a phone. Still the jbl seemed punchy through the phone. However, the jbl is louder at 50 percent volume so it's not apples to apples. I wish even an amateur audio nerd would compare these specific qualities. I can't exactly go to the store and try it out first heheh Typically anything I've listened to with a more ethereal sound stage sacrifices that mid bass punch you get in a dynamat car with good mids and a sub packed with foam to cancel out the inverted sound wave as well as the pressure kicking to cone back out real fast, versus less responsive speakers. I get that this isn't meant to be like a nice car system but I'm just trying to describe that mid bass punch I'm talking about
No one is giving an honest comparison to the motion boom plus. Its just a one sided media campaign blitz with all tye influencers parroting the same talking points. Waiting for the non biased comparison reviews.
