The speaker has a gorgeous tone. Super clear high, very clean vocals and sounds wonderful paired with a subwoofer. And such a compact, small box.
SV9-MK3 Single 9" Powered Top
Studio monitor sound quality, pro audio output. This baby makes your job easy.
Why the SV9-MK3?
The SV9-MK3 is a two-for-one deal. It provides studio-monitor performance that you can take out of the studio. This lets you do things a studio monitor can't do in terms of output power and portability. It also lets you do things you wouldn't want to do with an ordinary PA speaker, like using them for reference or just listening to music for the pleasure of it.
You can use these for studio monitors and trust what you hear. Have you ever wanted a set of studio monitors that are extremely accurate as well as dynamic? The SV9-MK3 can do that. Have you ever wanted just a little bit more volume out of your studio monitors? How about a lot more? The SV9-MK3s can do that. When you want to show off a track to a friend, or a whole bunch of friends, you want them to hear it with the same quality that you experience in the studio. The SV9-MK3s can do that.
Have you ever wished you could find a small speaker that's easy to carry and gets loud enough to do gigs? The SV9-MK3 can do that. Have you ever wished you could get more SPL out of a top box when you add a sub? The SV9-MK3 can do that.
Ideal for smaller parties and events, the SV9-MK3 provides surprising output for its size and weight, making it the perfect option when you don't want to lug a large, heavy system. The SV9-MK3 can do a lot of different things, and, whether you use all their capabilities or not, it's nice to know you can.
If you need something that can put out more SPL, the next thing to look at is the DiaMon-MK3.

True Specifications
Our forward-thinking approach means that we never rest on our laurels. As we continue to innovate and refine our technology, our specifications will evolve. We're committed to constantly pushing the boundaries and raising the bar.

*Peak output is calculated using “industry standard” techniques. These calculation methods create theoretical specifications that are inflated over what can actually be achieved. BASSBOSS real world output specifications are provided as “Maximum Sustained Output” ratings, which reflect actual measured, continuous output levels.

Do you use them for DJing at parties ? For how many people do you think these can work ? Thanks !

@DJBrianRodrigues 22 дня назад
@@gabrielrivaud1651 yes plenty videos on my channel with them in use. I’d say at most with 2 subs 150. One sub 100. Since I have dv12s I bring them out when it’s over 100 guests or bigger rooms way more headroom.

Great video! I'm wondering if you these would be good for a solo acoustic/singer. Typically, a couple of Bose S1 pro's are all I need, and for bigger/outdoor shows, I use a couple of Evolve 50s. Because I'm just running the acoustic and vocals, I don't need a ton of bass response. I'm wondering if these would be good for midsize shows or if you think I may be better served getting a couple decent EV or RCF 10-inch speakers for half the price. I'd love to get your feedback. Thanks for making the video. Joe

Hey Joe thank you for your message and kinds words. I actually had a RCF ART910 that is half the price of this and when played side by side it is noticeably louder. But the sound quality of the SV9 is what I love. Don’t get me wrong the RCF sounds great also. In my case I need bass because I am using them for DJ events and always bring 1 or 2 subs. I love how small and compact they are, they really are smaller then anything on the market. They sound incredible on full range it’s pretty strange considering their size. I’ve seen them a Guitar Center in the show room maybe you get lucky and can give them a listen. All sounds like great options and their all pretty small. Hope I was able to help.

so this is a tweeter + sub all in one unit basically? Or is it still would you consider a PA speaker and would need a sub for the womp womp? I was wondering the same with the bassboss dv12-mk3 . Wish i listened to the live demo at the NAMMM show but i missed it!

This review is for a SV9 single 9” stereo top. It goes down pretty low, I mentioned it pairs perfectly with a bb15 subwoofer. I would always recommend using it with an sub. The DV12 is a whole other animal. So much power and it is possible to do an event without subwoofers with those things

What do you think about a pair of DV12 paired with one BB15?
@DJBrianRodrigues
@DJBrianRodrigues 9 месяцев назад
I love that combination! The BB15's keep up surprisingly well they are a crazy little sub. Plus if you want a little more low end support you can run the DV12's on full range and it will sound remarkable.

@@DJBrianRodrigues yeah I’m having a hard time finding a place to rent or try out the DV12 here in LA. Want to really try them before making a purchase like that. I currently use Evox12 for my weddings but I like it LOUD and find myself limiting them pretty easy. Even though they sound great and the crowd probably doesn’t need them any louder I’m always wanting more. If I were to get the DV12 I would ideally use them without a sub for most weddings and maybe only use a sub for bigger rooms. Almost all my weddings are less than 150 people but sometimes the rooms are bigger and the Evox12 could probably use a few more SPLs. Super happy with them but for some reason have my eyes on those DV12.
@DJBrianRodrigues
@DJBrianRodrigues 9 месяцев назад
@@stevedub5006 I mean you’ll probably get more bass out of the Evox12s because they have their own subwoofers but the DV12s will for sure be louder and are very hard to limit. Specially when their high passed

@@DJBrianRodrigues yeah and something tells me one BB15 will have more bass than both the evox12 subs. They don’t go as low as you would think for 15 inch.

@DJBrianRodrigues 7 месяцев назад
Quality of sound for the SV9 is like studio. Very perfect crisp sound. But I do belive the bigger K12.2 will be louder. Hard to compare a 9” woofer to a 12”. They just move so much more air.

ty! i see that you use them in some of your events on your videos. When paired with a sub i assume you can push them a bit louder then without ? @@DJBrianRodrigues

@@cesard09 yes of coarse. I don’t think they can handle a lot of events their own unless there not a lot of people. For what I do wedding and sweets I always need more bottom end. With them on full round they sound great but being so small you always want a sub to get the most beautiful sound you can get . For corporate events or just playing music at a lounge they are perfect.
