The bat generator would be great for the military as well as when we in the states go through crisis like we did a few weeks ago with the ice knocking all the power grid out they could float those up the produce and power within 24 hours while they repair the ones that are broken great invention now get it into the hands of the people that need it and can use it every state in the union Should Own a fleet
I'm a wheelchair user about to travel a lot. The first two were an absolute jackpot for me! Shame I do not have even 1/100th of the money these would probably cost.
Oh my gosh.. I'm from Malaysia and the new invention for the sea is here... I love it! Just so you know.. I love sea.. I want it to be clean and good animal in seas..
The pull up traveling suitcase. I've got a tackle box that does pretty much the same thing and acts as a cooler if I need to yeah I haven't even heard the price but I bet you the prices outrageous for this thing.$480 outrageous.
lmao came here to write something similar to this. over a decade later i still remember the film, and the design of the weapons are still distinctive and cool.
I like the way they didn't use any specialised equipment to move the tree, i mean, i have two massive diggers and 14 giant airbags, and a huge compressor and giant platform all in my basement - i just whip them out when i feel like doing a little gardening, you know!
Nothing here shocked me, but I enjoyed the moving tree. I decided to spend $70,000 to have one of my own trees moved across the yard. Now I feel complete.
If the tsa needs to search that first suitcase you’re a screwed with out a suit case. They will rip the sliding compartment out to check every square inch of that. At least can open it from the front to access things if the tsa agent doesn’t fully check it
Airborne wind turbines are actually pretty old idea by now. Unfortunate that the turbines in those aren't very large and AFAIK they still want to use expensive helium, so cost per unit is going to be high. My proposal is to use some of the electricity to make hydrogen both as an energy store and to keep the floaters airborne. Also, you can fuel your cars with it and even use it at home- it is more efficient to use a fuel cell to turn H2 to heat and electricity in-house than to produce electricity, transmit it to your home and boil water or heat air with it.
@@moemensultan6374 Hindenburd burned because the paint was extremely flammable, hydrogen is like POP! and it's gone. Just don't use thermite paste to paint the balloon and it should be safe. Though if a lightning strike or something does set one of these on fire it really does not matter what it is filled with, it's going to burn and fall. But unless the hydrogen explodes right when the balloon is on the ground and there are people around it, or the generator actually falls on someone, such accident would not be too serious.
@@AnalystPrime Your arguments make sense and now what about the most important factor :efficiency/energy density is this technology still worth looking at or is it still in its infancy i.e. why don't we hear more about it ?
@@moemensultan6374 My guess is building big balloons needed to take up heavier turbines costs too much. Also, the balloons would need checks, refilling and other maintenance which can get expensive. To match other wind turbines the balloons should not cost much more than $3/watt. Most land based wind turbines produce no more than 3MW because we can't move the blades for bigger ones on roads. Flying turbines would take advantage of the faster and steadier high altitude winds and while people might not want to risk being under them they shouldn't be as disruptive as windmill towers. However, I feel the turbines in those balloons are closer to ten kilowatt range than hundreds of kilowatts, let alone megawatts. That means many balloons are needed, which means more land stations, meaning more land area and more people taking care of them need to be hired so even if single balloon has low price the other costs would soon pile up. I guess the military and various expeditions that need a portable power source but can't haul enough solar panels around would still be interested. Balloon and generator should still be relatively easily transported and even if you send it up and take it down each day it should not need more than few hours of maintenance, and it can probably just fly up there for few days easily without it.
Where will all of the teenagers work if McDonald's has robotic burger flippers and french fry dumpers??? The world has gone robot crazy. Reminds me of the song "In The Year 2525" except it is not going to take that long to get to that point at this rate.
So if your automated lift for wheelchair accessibility breaks and needs to be serviced will the business be sued in the meantime for not having a wheelchair accessible ramp? Would seem to me that you would still need the ramp the same way you wouldn't build an elevator without a staircase too. The lift may be nice, but I doubt it can ever replace the ramp as a ramp is almost zero maintenance.
Cooking & waitering robots look great but who will clean them up ? bet this will be a new kind of human job, 1 step further down from McJob... Another thing: what makes quality food is the love that is put in. Only humans can put love in their cooking. But hey! this tech will do marvels for profit and for convenience in feeding the sheeple & slaves.
I couldn’t understand what this Brit said was dumping the garbage in the ocean. I played it 3 times and I can’t tell you what he said with his thick accent. It sounded like he said the garbage is brought into the rivers by gribbers whatever that is. I wish you would get speakers who speak American English. TheBrits pronounce their vowels completely different and they have a totally different vocabulary for common things.
YEAH a robot cooking my food NO THANKS For one thing it can't taste it to see what it taste like. And then the big picture one robot cooking one Burger puts three people out of work FUKTHAT V
