I think the Charleston is beautiful. I would use the downstairs bedroom as my quilting studio and sleep upstairs until I can’t climb the stairs. Still doing my homework on what I want. Keep designing Randy……they all look great. 🤗
@@susanbeals7597 Did you see the recent Kirsten Dirksen video featuring the 'Bumblebee' furniture that drops from the ceiling? 😀 Joyce, have you considered that with a smaller bed you could easily have your hobby space in the same room? A 3/4 bed is only 48x75, perfect for one. My problem with lofts is that my knees wouldn't like any place that requires them to touch the ground. 😱
Hi Susan, thanks for the info on Kirsten Dirksen but I have a long arm frame that is 14’3” so my tiny home studio would need some modifications. At 77 I’m still very active and do my own yard work. I’m really considering tiny living. Constantly purging from the things in this house that are not necessary. Thanks again for your info. 🤗
@@joyceterry578 Wow, that is seriously long. To be honest, I don't see a place in that or any other model where it would fit, not even set diagonally in the living room. You may need to consider downsizing that, too; it's half the length of the house. There is 9' max along the window wall in the loft, 10' in the bedroom. You can go to the website to check out the dimensions on the plans. I'm three years ahead of you, and as a forager and mushroomer, I do a lot of walking, but my knees said 'no floors' in my late 40's. You're lucky if you've avoided arthritis. 👍
Your so right Amanda, going smaller when you get older, makes sense. I live in a apartment, i never use my living room, i have a tv in my room, going smaller, just really makes sense.
My mom said this to me, and I never forgot it..."I'm getting older and I don't want to clean up all the time, cleaning up a huge house." She said this to me when I was oooweeing and awwwwing over these huge homes in the area. Ya know what guys, she's right. I get grumpy when I have to wash a dish hahahahahaha

@@spiritwarrior9378 I used three RU-vid channels, mostly, to help me through it. The Minimal Mom, Clutterbug, and Dana K. White. The three of then also offer a workshop called "Take Your House Back", which also helped but isn't free. Hope this helps!
@@spiritwarrior9378 eBay used to have places you could bring your items and they would sell them by posting pictures etc. If you can't find one near you you could always find and ebay seller and see if you could work out a deal with them. Try it yourself. It is very easy. You just upload pictures, post details, after it sells you can have the post office pick up and you can even get free post office supplies.
The Charleston is really a great design! Cant wait to see it finished ! If it were mine Id want that picture window to be a french door opening out to the deck I'd be building !
I love the Charleston and that is going to be my goal to get the Charleston without dormers. It is the perfect size for one person & a bunch of furbabies! Lol I'm already decorating it in my head.

Beautiful home!!! (Charleston). I’m with you Randy. One thing I’ve learned is that I don’t use nearly as much space as I (used to) own. I sold my house almost a year ago and downsized to a 2 bedroom apt. My 8x16 incredibox should be completed next week!!!! I contacted you all shortly after I sold my house, thinking I would purchase a custom build. But, something just didn’t gel. Then I saw the i box. It took me a few months to wrap my mind around such a tiny space. But, it’s seriously all I need. Thanks so much for what you are doing!!!

OMG the 8×28 incred-i-box is enormous. I would love to have this home with the same floor plan as the 8×16 with the bathroom being big enough to have a closet and stackable washer and dryer. What would be the price of your 8×28 if it had the same floor plan as the 8×16 with a bigger bathroom with closet and washer dryer connections in it? I would really like to know the price or an estimate about what it might cost. Thanks a bunch for sharing your videos and I hope that one day I will be able to afford a incred-i-box. Especially the 8×28 having a bigger bathroom to accommodate a closet and stackable washer and dryer.
Loving the white walls!! The picture window is beautiful but I would leave it out so that I could put a nice size tv and electric fireplace on that wall.
I love the Charleston, I think I would like it with out the loft, it is so open, this is so lovely. I tell you , to think that you folks are building homes that most everyone can buy is such a peaceful thought. God bless you and this company.

OMG I love this model, now I have changed my mind again of which Tiny Home I want. The only thing is I want it shorter like 24' and leave off the loft and make to beam dark, and just have picture windows up there and leave it open because it makes it look so big.
The Charleston is absolutely beautiful! Can't wait to see it finished. Still a little bigger than what I would want to take care of! That's why I went with the 12x20 on the Grove! As I have gotten older,STUFF becomes less important. My entire way of thinking has changed since unexpectedly having major knee issues that I didn't see coming. It is harder to take care of things,so my mindset switched to the idea that less is more! I honestly believe it. And take it from me,don't wait until you have physical issues to want to downsize,because it makes it that much harder to do everything. If you have the chance when you can physically maybe get around better,that is the time to downsize.Even if you are not thinking of actually going tiny,I feel,at least for me,downsizing over the years as I started getting older would have been much easier on me! That 12x20 will be plenty big enough for the things we really need,and a lot easier to keep clean! You guys are amazing! Keep doing the thing that helps us realize the dreams! You do them wonderfully!

I personally believe that being glued and screwed is as strong if not stronger than a container home. I love this stability and the recycling. I could do a lot with this
Randy , I think I like the Charleston like it is because the way the windows are placed they’re just the right height for furniture and light. I wouldn’t change this one as inside, it’s perfect!

It's an ITH 2 fer Friday! I must admit, I'm a bigger (around mostly) guy. I feel the 8x16 Incred-I-box is a bit small for me, but the 12x20 works. I love the models and the Mountain but I am very near retirement and I want to retire debt free. It's just like Randy said, I don't want to be tied down to a place with no money to go anywhere. The 12x20 in the Grove allows me to do that. I want to travel, visit family and friends. See places I've always wanted to see. Thank you Randy and Amanda for making that happen!
Mr. Jones once you apply solar to the roofs of manufacturing and offices , your costs for production will decrease probably close to 20%. Glad to see the cart retrofitted with solar. Keep up the good work.

(Could we have a drawing for this one 😊) Randy, just a thought regarding structural testing someone needs to research the engineering colleges one of them might have a wind tunnel. Was curious about comparing the "feel" of the inside of tiny from another company. Even it had more sq footage was than the lncred-I-box, the other tiny had less room to move around. Thanks for a much better quality/designed home!! 🏡
I used to live in Tennessee. I Engineered Walk-in Coolers and Freezers made with Engineered Steel Panels. They are made in Parsons TN I wonder if you could work with them. Maybe even get thicker Panels from them.

Most every woman I talk with love the idea of going tiny yet the men in their lives are like no way. Why? Goofy reasons 1 most older men don't clean the house most don't cook most don't do laundry ect the women do it all..we women are tired of keeping a spotless pulled together home spending all our time keeping it up. I agree Amanda I'm ready for simple life and travel. I watched a video where a Man built his tiny and added a small garage at the end with roll up door and all!! That's why men don't like tiny no garages.😂🤣👀🙋
The Charleston is my dream home. I wasn’t able to get this one because I couldn’t get a lot to put it on. I’m going into the Grove for now and am hoping I’ll be able to get a lot in a couple of years to put this one on in either the prairie or the forest. Can’t wait!! Then again I may want to stay in the Grove after I’ve been there a while. Will have to see how things go. 😊
Randy and Amanda, Hi! You're right no other builder will give you details on how many homes they've built but they will surely tell you the pricing! Or should I say outrageous pricing. ITH has the best homes around for the different range of customers. You have created affordable homes to high end models, I am amazed how beautiful your homes are. By the way I live in the midwest Kansas City Missouri, our city just passed an ordinance where home owners can now have ADU's; I am hoping this move will then allow for tiny homes on wheels some day. Because of the housing market nationwide most city/states have no choice but to allow for different types of housing. ITH is years ahead of what is yet to be in housing in the US. I LOVE the Charleston! I can only imagine what the finish product will look like. Great job ITH

In Montana out in the Bitterroot Valley, a fellow is building tiny homes about this size and his asking price is $145,000. Wow!!!!!! So this is such a great value and so mucn more quality built. By the way Amanda.....was hoping to catch up with you when you were out here a while back.....perhaps next time

This house is so nice, love the look and the craftmanship on it, as well as the big window in the Livingroom. The white shiplap walls with the natural trin and ceilings. I also love the LP siding with the two colors on the outside. Love the burgundy color, white trim and then the different color on the roof. I also noticed that this is like the 10 X 20 with a 10 X 10 bedroom on the end. I like that floorplan. I live with my sister, but if I were to buy a house, I would want a tiny house. Similar floor plan to the Charleston, all one floor, and I would use the loft for a sitting/reading/craft area. I also love the 10 X 10 bedroom on the main floor. I would put solar panels on it, and a wind turbine.
