Yes, Love,we make crumpets, we buy them in Sainsbury's, also baked beans is not part of an English Breakfast, its an add on, usually from what we call a Cafe, where Hard working Men , whom do loads of manual, back breaking work go and often they have chips too, (fries to Americans) , mushrooms and Black pudding too. Surprisingly, it all looks very tasty. As a German, I always thought that the highlight of British cuisine was baked beans on toast and fish and chips, and that there was nothing else apart from these two dishes. Kind regards from mainland Europe. Please do not take offence, I like to provoke^^

I spent time in England, had all of these foods. Wonderful meals, they are very good. All I ask is that butchers in the U.S. learn how to cut bacon the way the British do! They're bacon is an actual meat product, not just all a bunch of fat. Truly miss British bacon!

Interesting and most dishes shown looked lovely. The fish and chips at the end looked absolutely awful though, anaemic looking chips and tiny fish pieces.

What about Chicken Tikka Masala? Been taking over British cuisine for years.... invented in Glasgow. Yorkshire Pudding not usually eaten on its own, normally with roast dinners. Sticky toffee pudding not on most menus, and steak and kidney out of favour for years, as it is offal. Just steak alone, or with beer in the pastry. And eels, well they went out in the 1900s.... from a Brit hotelier one time

In the first 10 seconds “ kidney pie” There is no such thing as kidney pie! At least not in in normal usage. As a Brit in the USA I have heard this many times. Here’s how I think it came about. American “well I know what steak is, right?” So the other thing must be………

@MsMissy Hello, I live in UK for years now, I do agree you have some foods that have amazing potential to be top of the top, but I do not like British food. I myself am a cook and the one thing I notice here is that most people are lazy cooks, that means not using enough resources and and developing taste that you could do. I do not think that every British person is like that. But trough my experience after many years of living here this is my impression. You know how many times i been out at the restaurant that had the best reviews, I ordered something and it had no taste. And that I think is the main problem here. Simple dishes can be the best dishes, just use the right technique and spice and it can go a long, long way. All respect for all you people out there. I do wish that British traditional foods would be represented better. Love to all
