The issue you may have is that every time there's a fault, the truck needs to get a download from a Toughbook. Same goes with servicing, but Daimler have really long service intervals. Those Bins under the bunk are really difficult to access, except with a ladder. Don't loose the key/cartridge, they are unique to the truck. I have known people to actually lock themselves out (don't know how).

I understand there is a lot of design involved in the living portion of the vehicle, and I understand there is a lot of time involved in parenting, so I will wait. Not only electronics, also automatic transmission and emission system. I probably would have gone for a pre-emission vehicle but nontheless its a very nice truck and it will be interesting to see what you make of it :)

Hallo Ihr Drei Gute Erklärung von Mercedes Interessant die Weiterentwicklung der Technik. Aber wie bei unserem MAN, das Fahrerhaus muss zum Kippen gepumpt werden. Beim dran Arbeiten Scheibenkleister auf Reise wirds egal sein. Das hochklettern sah bei Isabella elegant aus. Du musst noch üben. Was mir auch gut gefällt ist der Motor mit 10,4 Liter. Da habt Ihr keine Probleme am Berg. Wie beim voherigem Kommentar angedacht. Glückwunsch zu diesem Fahrzeug. Wir sind gespannt die Kabine genauer zu sehen. Aber Krug wirds schon machen.. Hallo ihr Drei! Tolles Basisfahrzeug mit dem es sicher viel Spaß macht zu reisen und die Welt noch weiter zu erkunden. Ich habe allerdings keinen dritten Sitz für euren Sohnnemann gesehen!? Kann man das Bett wegklappen?

Danke, die Rücksitzbank bietet 4 Gurte, 2 3 punktgurte auch für Kindersitze geeignet ins 2 Mittel Bauch Gurte… Die Rücksitzbank könnte man bedingt nach oben hin öffnen um an den Stauraum darunter zu gelangen … See ya when we see ya 👋 Fabian Isabela and Matheo

This truck is massiv and has everything for a family with small child. But for me it is too big, too heavy, to complicated for overlanding. Moreover, I would not want a Euro-6 truck. I wish you happy overlanding and enjoy your family!

Congratulations on the new truck. Regarding truck chasis choice, thinking out loud, what's the pros and cons of Arocs vs say MB Zetros, or MAN TGM 4x4? Also, did you consider a 6x6, say MAN TGS 26.440 or 33.540 to combine with a larger cabin? Thanks!

Zetros is a bit awkward for body builds as the truck cab length is a lot longer so you are reduced in habitation module size if you are overall length restricted. (In the UK length limit for "motorhome" class is 13m.) 26t and 33 ton TGS, I mean it's all doable if you have the money but shi** gets expensive real fast. No real need to have a 33Ton base vehicle with 540 horsepower. I think Unicat has said in the past that fully loaded you should spec the truck to be circa 50% of it's weight limit. So you can be loaded to 10t on a 20Ton chassis. I think it's to do with ride comfort and also longevity. Also tyre load has a bearing too so the higher weight classes will have to be on a 6x6 to spread the load more

@@HandyCZetros as the big brother to the legendary unimog does have that extra appeal to me. The longer truck body does have some limitations and usually necessitate a 6x6 chasis, which limits the offroad capabilities.

@@earthpeace3323 whilst a longer body does limit off road capabilities in terms over break over angle (gets hung up on the ground in the centre of the vehicle) the 6x6 config actually increases offroad ability for any given weight, as it decreases ground pressure so less likely to sink in softer ground and also increases available traction due to have two extra tyres in contact with the ground at any given time.. now there is a caveat to this and that is the type of suspension that is fitted to the 4 rear wheels. If you're not sure how that affects things I'm pretty sure unicat explained this well in one of their semi recent uploads.👍🏼

De quantos Euros adicional estamos falando para aquelas mudanças mecânicas, (tanque, segundo alternador).

Super truck, wäre auch mein Traum 🥰 Ich lebe in Quebec, Kanada und besitze ein 12 Meter langes A-Klasse Wohnmobil mit Cummins Diesel. Natürlich vieel Platz aber halt nix für Offroad.

I think most electronics are extremely worry free these days. A decade ago when they were still experimenting with more electronics in vehicles they didn’t get quite right. But now there were very few issues. Should be trouble free for a long time.

Sounds like you selected quote a few extras than the base Arocs. It is difficult to know what is standard and what are additional options/changes Mercedes added. Do you have a breakdown of the options selected somewhere?
