They had previously or would go onto fight the British themselves. Did u know that despite being divided into warring tribes the Māori were never defeated by the British?!? In fact it was dumb luck the white people ended up with all the land. The Māori only agreed to meager settlements because they had been devastated by diseases for which they had no immunity to. Wow amazing it’s pretty damn hard to match the Maori haka, but the aboriginal war dance is pretty damn fierce. Well done gents incredible display! It’s good to see that we haven’t managed to lose our aboriginal culture, and that it is still with us today. Great to see that we’ve got something left that can be nurtured and passed on.

you are aware there was never a traditional aboriginal war dance - was never part of traditional culture but was first done by a city based aboriginal dance group less than 20 years ago - the same applies to the smoking welcome to country ceremony which was a piece of theatre written by Ernie Dingo in the late 1970's

@@maxstrength2963 Funded by the citizen’s tax dollars. No wonder America can’t fix poverty and homelessness. Too busy with your guns and wasteful spending on military rather than investing in infrastructure and poor communities. Etc. Without your precious tax dollars stolen from the people that you exploited their labor, your military means nothing. Especially with the amount of war crimes committed and sweeping it under the rug. A nuclear war will send the US back to the Stone Age, in which millions of Americans will struggle how to make weapons out of wood and stone.
