Coyote and crew, I've hiked the narrows and Angel's Landing probably over 20 times each - it's right in my backyard. Thanks for portraying Zion in such a good light, it's very special. There are hundreds of hidden, interesting hikes if you're ever interested in finding out about them. Take care guys.
It is totally worth it if you get the chance. If your family is together and they do vacations, ask them to take you to Zion. When I was in high school my dad and I hiked it together because the rest of our family was afraid to (no shame there, it is quite scary), and there were some wacky and interesting people hanging out at the summit. One girl did a headstand, another guy was talking to somebody about how he lived alone in the woods for 3 years and then wrote a book about the metaphysical interconnectedness (is that a word?) of the human race. There was a 6 year old boy up there, he had a body leash so he wouldn't fall. Definitely a worthwhile experience. I overcame my fear of heights, and my dad developed one.
I am from London but when I went on holiday to America last summer I travelled through many national parks but Zion was by far the best! I also did this exact same hike and it was very tiring but it was 100% worth it as I went on a sunny day so the views from 'Angel's Landing' were impeccable! Definitely reccommend taking a trip to Zion if you are in the West coast of America because it is the most incredible place I have ever been in my life!
George Munoz Appeared to be that most people are just pissed because they want him to "JUST DO THE BULLET ANT CHALLENGE ALREADY SJGRIBD". According to the comments at least.
I was just here last week and have regretted not getting a ton of footage on Angels Landing because I was terrified the whole way up. What a hike (we did it in 108F)!!! Great footage
I don't think any one realised that he is ridiculously similar to Vsauce in terms of looks/ educational vids / and interesting and awesome content except that coyote actually goes and explore the world
adhithya because RU-vid rewind is for the cancerous youtubers. If you're not on rewind it's probably because you're busy making videos for your fans which is the right thing to be doing compared to the youtubers shooting for rewind wasting time when they could be making videos for us instead.
Coyote, if you are still in Utah you should check out Kanarraville falls. its a gorgeous hike with lots of waterfalls and wildlife. Also check out Flaming Gorge. If you are lucky you might be able to see a young moose. But you might have to go river rafting to see it. Timpanogos Cave is also amazing. Just to name a few awesome places in Utah you should check out (:
sharkbait2342 avb yes! another fellow hiker in Utah :) kanaraville falls is kind of like the narrows at Zion, but still a really cool spot to check out!
sharkbait2342 avb i went to kanarafalls a couple months ago, it was fantastic cause its been a while since I have. but ive been several times since i live relatively close.
I live in Utah in Eagle Mountain! I think I've been to Zion once for a camp. Have you ever hiked West canyon in lake Powell? It has narrows that are way more narrow than this it's lots of fun!
Coyote: "Watch your ankles, guys." Trips, falls in the water, current carries him off, bumps his head on rock, faints, falls off cliff, dies. Mark: "You ok?"
I absolutely love that area of Utah. Bryce, Zion, and the Grand Canyon a couple hours away. Coral sand dunes state park.. I could go on forever about that area.
I went up to Zion in March with my friend. The only hike we did was angels landing. I stopped at scotts landing (where the crew stopped) and my friend did the rest. It was a really tough hike but Scott's landing has a beautiful view of the canyon.
i onced hiked a mountain in sandals... and it had alot of sand... and to take a step i needed to lift the knee up to my stomach, imagine the after math of PAIN once i got home :D
I was actually on this trail when I was 7, but only for about half a mile before I started complaining and we ended up turning back. I gotta go back there.
Connor B 100%, I've been there like 8 times in my life and really would love to have a seasonal home there someday. absolutely amazing place. Moab and southern utah in general
Back in... I want to say around 2010-2011 my girl scout troup and I went out for a hiking/camping trip down in zion and did some wading in a low-tide river. The water was still very strong and powerful and I weighed only around 90lbs. While wading my walking stick broke and I lost my balance and was about a good 5-6 feet away from being swept down a waterfall from the force of the water- luckily I was also near the shoreline and someone pulled me to safety before that could happen. It was the same river the crew was wading through. After that scare I decided I wasn't going to walk along the angel's landing hike. One day hopefully I will.
