So in 1989 it was worth £2k, I imagine the demand for items like this has gone down a lot! Maybe a few hundred at most now?

Doing a search for "obadiah sherratt" brings up items from several hundred to several thousand GBP. Still worth something, though it's not kept up with inflation.
