Like my classical guitar teacher used to tell me: one can tell a good band when, live, they can play as well as in studio. I saw them live in Puerto Rico, around 2005: they were so professional, a most energizing show.
Since I first heard “Pardon Me”, I have been ruined for most other music. Incubus is the intellectual and heavy thinking human’s band. Absolutely brilliant. My gratitude for your beautiful work that keeps me hopeful.
"Pardon Me" was my first introduction to Incubus. That was sort of an "ah ha" moment, maybe I like this music and I was missing out before. Incubus's whole records, one after the other, they don't sound "commercial". Each track has its own "fuel". And each is of a different type. And they bring the power with each song.
If I were to recreate an animated video for this song, I would make Brandon drop the mic in slow motion after saying "I'd cut off both your wings, on principle alone"
the thing about incubus is..... going to see them live is like seeing classical music live... you don't get the urge to jump or dance around because you don't feel the music in your body... you feel the music in your heart and mind... and all you can do is sit there in awe that you are hearing it straight from the source.
fo sure. seen em in scranton PA back in 98 at a dive bar. im ashamed to say it was the first i heard of them. they opened for limpbizkit. seen em a few months later headlining the same bar. shit, when Brandon came out w/ the jembe and sarted playin newskin.....holy fuckin awesome. pft, we chatted w/ him at the bar the first time we seen him but we didnt know who he was lol

They were on hiatus until if not now when. just saying. he/she may have not known they've been touring this past year and this year. They're doing honda civic tour with Linkin park i say grab your tickets now they're moving fast. An are getting expensive if you wait longer.
I disagree, myself as a classical musician as well as rocker have been to many classical performances as well as rock shows and at incubus concerts I rock the fuck out. How can anyone stand still while listening to Megalomaniac? All depends on what the song is.
