My name is Joanna. I have a speech disorder called Speech Apraxia. Apraxia is a speech sound disorder where one has trouble saying
words correctly. The brain knows what it wants to say, but cannot say the sounds properly. I am educating people on what it's like living with Speech Apraxia or any disability, but I am focusing on my disability the most.
In episode 3
I am a little bit sad about leaving my old bedroom where I grew up. Mocha was in the apartment a few times before we moved in
just to get her used to her new place and her safe space from now on.
The first night she slept here we closed Mocha’s door, well she didn’t like that and was whining until we let her out. We put a baby gate up at the end of the stairs so she won’t feel close in as much. That will be in episode 4 the last episode!
Mocha and I sometimes go out to my parent’s farm so Mocha can run freely!
We are both happy with our new apartment!
