A few years ago I traveled from Connecticut to here just to climb this route. We got to the entrance only to find the tower closed for falcon nesting. We were crushed and never got back there. Awesome video - I felt like I was climbing that pitch that I was fearing. Thanks!
I'm in Grand Junction for work and just drove through the monument last night. I saw this tower and read the plaque and couldn't believe people actually climbed it. Well done - my hands definitely got sweaty watching that.
