Well, I had an error 7 (Hotpoint FTCF 87 8kg) and the instructions said it needed a new PCB. I tried this simple fix and guess what! It worked. Thanks Darren 👏👏👏
Will this smoke a little the first time you run it? I also removed kind of a paste gathered where this heat element goes was all around the fan to, smelled like washing powder or so.

Hello , On the back of the machine to the bottom right is a plastic box. Take the top off of this it splits in two and check out the wires. There is a switch which can burn out and a level. If this is faulty this wont pump the condensation out up into your draw container and the heater will not work.
