Thanks buddy....after watching a lot of videos finally I got you doing practicle not just theory and most important is the explaination of query that express difference...Great
4 years later, the best explanation i needed. This video needs to be on first search place and this teacher needs to be appreciated so much, tnx man u really guided me into light from darkness
Thank you so much, Nikhil! I am working on my very first huge corporate project as a freelancer. I was working on the booking engine and some tables had millions of entries in it. I knew about advance SQL concepts like indexes, that are used to optimize queries! But I never understood them in the collage. I randomly searched for video tutorials about SQL indexing! Your video helped a lot. Now I exactly know what I have to do! Again, Thank you so much! :)
hello sir, I am from Houston, (USA) you doing fantastic job. keep it up. you explain any topic in a simple way. I watch your videos . I Love India......
Great tutorial!! The concept is now clear to me. The only thing you should follow to improve is to eliminate or reduce that two words and you know better which two words. Thanks for the tutorial.
got bogged down searching videos for understanding concept of Indexing. luckily got yours. now i m really ecstatic bcz i've got pellucid concept of that. ta muchly & reverence to u ..
Bro.... You need to capitalise the letters which are predefined in my SQL which makes the reading of the code much more clear And this is I guess a very basic thing for a good programmer to do but anyways this is a tip which if you follow it will be good for even the listeners to understand your code
I would say it is good but if there is possible to discuss more about how index works internally e.g. what does this use so this is happening? As you had mentioned that there is a reference for the values in other space so how it is created. Basically, I know it use BTree but not very well. Can you publish another video with the internal detail because this was literally good video with the demo. I hope, you got it.
Create index not give that much fast...in my table i use more trim(SUBSTRING_INDEX(SUBSTRING_INDEX(SUBSTRING_INDEX AS is it slow the execution time ? if this is the pblm give any suggesstion
He doesn't address that important point, but I was thinking the same thing. There must be a binary search on the index. Otherwise, you're just exchanging one full search for another.
