If you look at the history of Olympics .. every time Olympic was loss making for the host country so we should focus on developing good infrastructure for sports and focus to produce more better atheletes for Olympics and other events . Look at the Asian games china won 300+ medals and we've just 100+ . If you carefully notice chinise have most of the gold medal among their total medals but in our case we got more bronze than gold. So we should focus on this things. We need to support other sports need to build coaching centres and infrastructures for other sports which are less known in our country.

Chinese did it back in 2008 and India doing the same because we will be at the same level as Chinese within next 2 years when they hosted for Olympics back in 2008. You have to understand that hosting an Olympics is a loss for any country. It's not hosted for profitability. It's hosted to promote athletism. As north America, Japan and Europe has been hosting it for the past centuries, it's now our duty as Asians to carry on the tradition as we are reaching the capability to host them(economically). Europeans and north Americans could also stop hosting and use the money for their people but they didn't do it. They hosted it when others couldn't and now it's our chance to return the favour.

If India is able to grow its secondary sector which is manufacturing upto the services sector mark then surely yes, because the whole infra will be manufactured in India only and nothing will be outsourced and moreover it will boost employment which is a huge problem today. Unemployment and underpaid jobs are real crises that youth is dealing with today.

Olympic games can make profit only if the government is committed to permanently using the venues to develop multiple sports. Essentially hosting it in a city that plays sports all the time. London, Los Angeles and Sydney made profits since global tournaments are held there all year.

Just like how India studied all the Space Exploration by other Countries to make its own Space Exploration low Cost and high Success Rates. I think they will study the mistakes of Olympic hosting Nations and then proceed to build infrastructures so to not meet the same economic difficulties.

A location near Jewar would be the best for organising Olympics & developing all the infrastructure which will also align with the current development project of govt & will be utilised later. Due to upcoming jewar Airport Project a green City near by ,Faster Transport,road Infrastructure wld be required which may be used for this purpose also

accha laga sun ke ki India Olympics 2036 host kar sakta hai.. but abhi India ko defence power strong karne ki jarurat hai.. abhi bahut challanges hai India ke paas.. filhaal India ko geopolitics pe jayada focus karna chahiye.. jaise UNSC me India ko permanent member ban-ne ka try karna chahiye.. aur humko GDP pe bhi focus karna hai.. Most of the countries are not interested to host the Olympics because it is not economically a good idea. The infrastructure built or the expenditure done for the Olympic doesn’t create any logical returns other than creating unnecessary debt.

@@arpitverma6745 1. Having infrastructure is only the first step. Tremendous amount of money is needed to maintain the infrastructure and run the events. Only cricket and to some extend football brings in revenue for this. Government money cannot be used for it. 2. Olympics is not held across a nation. So most probably it will be built in one place.
