i've been getting recomendation of shark tank US , and trust me people come with hilarious and even more crazy buisness ideas there , but their sharks listen to them with seriousness , here its more like drama.
This is why when someone tries to do something different in India they are laughed upon, no wonder we are not the top in this world for innovation. If someone came with an icecream or panipuri everyone would have happily invested. I think this is the most safe shark tank in the world. Only thing matters is sale.
This is what happens when we have a government that expects the youth to eradicate unemployment by selling pakodas! This potential product that might never see the daylight because of such gatekeeping and naysayers.
Absolutely correct. Just saw a recent episode of AI car in the show. No one invested, I guess. All they want few rubbish clothes, food etc kind of brands. I guess, this show is not meant for people who actually bring new concepts and innovations.
@@ykd0011 Before I even try to shake down your ignorance with data (which is a Google search away), let me ask you, what is your resistance to accepting there's a market for this? Is it just the need to appear a smartass, do you just find the business disgusting, or do you have a phobia of insects? You sound too confident for the ostentatious claim.
10:34 Aman and ashneer always laughs by looking at each other.... actually they both automatically understands and they look at each other by co incidence 😂
@@generalawarenesswithrk9303 ya it's ok if they disrespect others entrepreneurs but it's not ok if somebody says like I need offer specially from * shark....
@@generalawarenesswithrk9303 they were not laughing on entrepreneurs bro..they were laughing on Vinita.. Because she was asking unit economics for Worms😂. Ashneer talked about it in one of chat show
I have 4 aquariums in our house and live feeds are the best for the fishes. Even at large scale these worms are used for different pets including reptiles. Secondly the organic fed chicken sold at big stores are better as compared to the injected chicken sold at local butcher shops. These concepts are actually practiced in US and in no time will be practiced in developing countries like India. They are doing a good job. There's nothing to laugh at.
But problem is everyone can breed it in home. I follow many pet vlogers. Everyone breed them by themself. I think that's why there are no big companies like this in the world.
USA is far behind India when it comes to non-veg and dry fruits. All high quality fruits, nuts, non - veg, including red chicken are exported from India. USA produce nothing. Learn your facts first. Can eater.
When she said they have reached ahead of time, I totally agreed with her. Till then they can continue solo and grip their feet's more in this line of business
As a science student who studied zoology. If their R&D team has actually researched and found evidence against the claims they make that these insects actually increase the longevity and health of animals then I think Zoos, Aquariums, Poultry etc. can be their target customers which is a huge market in itself. Would love to see a breakthrough in this business.
Obviously it is natural organic food for secondly consumers. You have studied biology and dont know simple science is appalling. A Poultry chicken is weak and tastless compared to Chicken which is grown in farm because farmed chicken like birds eat worms and insects deriving proteins making them stronger and tastier.
This is the first time that Shark Namita has given a better feedback compared to other sharks. Nice to see Namita discouraging other men sharks from laughing at the pitch at the end. This pitch should have made to the TV. May be some day there will be a bigger market size for this product.
There’s nothing wrong with this product. This is related to wormi culture. It just shows that lack of knowledge of so called sharks. Wormi culture is future of sustainable development. But they should have had some good sales or good customer feedback in order to invest big money.
@@whatdoyouevenwantbro Business for sure was not investible because of the unclear business model and low sales, but ye baat bhi sach hai ki kuchh sharks ne jis reason se isko mana kiya hai vo lack of knowledge dikhata hai in this field.
@@FarhanAhmad001 IN THIS FIELD obviously they have no knowledge in this field but tagging them as "so called sharks" and saying that they lack knowledge as a whole is totally wrong and disrespectful
Loved Namita in this episode.. Also I really found the product really innovative and if marketed properly it could give good returns to the entrepreneur.. Ashneer and Aman are absolute bullies....

@@TheMonika123They are trying to sell this product in India, the country with the most vegetarians in the world. The non vegetarian people will also not buy this because they already get plenty of protein from eating meat.
@@TheMonika123there are enough protein in vegetarian foods, we don't need to create more filthy insect eating culture in this country. Let this country be a Vegetarian heaven
If you turn them into powder forms, and then if you sell them outside the country as protein powder or supplements then you can earn in dollars bro. What are you saying.
😂😂😂 8:00 Im quite agree with him [insaan nahin pal rahen hai.. aur unko paalne keliye ek aur paalo] though pet caring and having at home is very widely in practice. I somehow see there is some fundamental issues with those who loves pets more than needed. Some psycological thing is attached with it I guess.
Out of the two sharks laughing, one was thrown out of the company for stealing money, another sells rebranded chinese products. Kudos to the real inventors.
It's a very sensible business. The only problem was the small revenue at this point. They should focus more on targeting business rather than individuals initially and expand volumes. Organic farming and sustainable farming will be big going forward. Also they need to develop on more use case scenarios going forward
I used to feed my hamsters mealworms and superworms. It used to take a lot of effort to procure it (and sometimes cost a bomb too). I am sure there are other animals that feed on worms. Sharks ko wormiculture ka idea nahi hai, toh has diya and kuch bhi bol diya !
Aman is unrefined and immature here 🤦♂️ Of course he might not have laughed at the pitchers but he also knows that's not what they would think. Namita is right "that's not Ok".
I think their product is genuine and also they have the sound knowledge. But it is very childish to look at behaviour of Aman and ashneer laughing without any reason. These sharks always judge on the base of money that 6 lakhs is very less. But in the starting phase of business the amount doesn’t matter much also the hard work and research on the product matters. So they can make profit if guided in a phased manner .
These so called sharks are nothing. They have created so called brands on the back of VC money with no sign of profit. Bharat Pe made a loss of 5500 crs and Boat makes cheap audio products by manufacturing it from China.
Ashneer is just rude at this point. Whole world is researching on worms for their protein, so much so that some a dubbing it as future meal. Ashnner said i'll give you a feedback. Feedback should be about business, plans or other shortcomings. Faltu gyaan pelna is not feedback. Neitheir rudely saying that he is not interested at all is feedback. Feedback is something that your teacher writes on your report card so that you improve. Ashneer can be rude and reject but don't call it a feedback...that's just crap move to look badass. Requirenment for worms is gonna blow in future in organic poultry and research work.
@@shubhamsingal3840 vegan is the present trend. I am talking about future aspect. Veganism has different objectives and this has different. Even vegan people feed their pets healthy food. If someone is a vegan who says their dog eats vegetable then that person is just a cruel person forcing his or her dog to eat only vegetables. Veganism can not provide for all.
Very true Live stock like poultry will be tremendously affected by such an initiative The poultry growth is directly dependent on the quantity and quality of food So good food good poultry is a simple math And not just poultry even in fisheries Very good scope, hope this message reaches the entomologist
They should at least try to understand how it is solving a problem Hamesa criticize karna cool nahi hota And after this my respect for ashneer and aman has gone down to the level of there iq
The feeding industry would definitely work in China. And the biodegradable plastic concept was really good and hope someone makes something out of this.
As a potential investor and judge, Ashneer is in right to nitpick and call out negatives, but definitely he has his own touch of ego and it reflects in the clips. Genuinely I like Anupam more because he nitpicks as well but the way he communicates it is in a polite and decent manner.
Actually in abroad countries in pet store these worms 🐛 are available. It has high protein so It is supposed to given to turtles and fish . I am staying in Florida and here we have so many lakes everywhere and many turtles , so usually I gave them these dried worms , shrimp it is packed in the container, its a high protein food for them. 🇺🇸 . Aman launching at it just ridiculous.
I Appreciate how Namita said that it's not okay to make fun of them... And it really felt Cringe how Aman and Ashneer were laughing at them.. it's really not cool...
In Indian shark tank there are very few who wants to invest seeing the what potential they will add by investing, and many wants to invest only if the business is already making business. the main basic question why do you need money why do you need shark has not been asked in many pitches
They have sound knowledge about the research, but I feel they need someone to market and sell their vision well. That was the most lacking. I'm sure if they communicated it better, at least the sharks wouldn't have been so rude and called their product crap. They can start a vermiculture company where they start off with culturing and selling worms for exotic pets and also sell products that are the byproducts of these worms. I've also seen people have live worms as icecream toppings outside India and there's a market for it since it's considered to be more ecofriendly and protein packed!
These are the best food for flower horn fishes and it is not costly also because once we buy them it is manageable for the pet keepers so for example blood worms it is an easy live food for all the fishes and as well as it is easy to breed at home also and the food is also very nutritious for fishes also
09:56 Aman actually explains his feelings on that point by giving an example of different movie.... like last time too he has given the example of badshah movie.... le le...le le.....le le.... sound wala. example....😂🤝🏻
People live in a dreamworld unfortunately. First thing in business is to identify the market. There is no market in India for this. A country where a large section of population is still struggling with basic needs, there would be extremely small number of people who would own such weird pets. Their second product was not even a product, they themselves do not know how they can scale it and its use case. Besides, a film that is being made from a larva of an insect is impractical to be scaled and would be too costly.
This Andra guy make sense. I do not Agree with Ashneer saying "we have enough humans and not enough humans to deal their problems". But there are Human for animals too and they have their space too, their problems too. The problem in our society we make Heros and make them sit equivalent to God, meaning the word poured out of their mouth is final.
Bhot himmat ka kam ha assaan nhi ha assy kam main unho NY hath bhe dala ha or itni unique thinking k sath seriously i appreciateted❤ Hasny ki koi bat nhi the wasy😊
I felt really bad for them, they looked like good humble people. It shows money doesn't buy you courtesy. Even if they were laughing at Vineeta, they should have had maturity enough to hold their joke for later.
The business was low as it had only 6 lakhs of sale. But reaction of aman and ashneer was rude. Being rich and successful doesn't give you licence to laugh on others.
