I watched this one yesterday, what a joke.

The frustration stems from Trudeau's public stance against India, which is an attempt to deflect attention from his domestic troubles, like the 2021 Chinese interference scandal, where he was accused of failing to act decisively. I likely see Trudeau’s accusations as trying to shore up political support at home, while potentially destabilizing diplomatic relations with India. The arrest of Indian nationals in Canada, alongside allegations involving groups like the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, adds another layer of complexity to the situation. Trudeau’s call for India to check its own security may come across as hypocritical to those who believe that Canada is not adequately handling its own security and law enforcement issues. This adds to the perception of unfairly targeting India for political gain. Regarding my point about taking Canada to the UN for threats like the Air India bombing and also against Indian leaders, that would be a significant escalation. While Canada is a sovereign nation that can handle its internal issues, taking such matters to international forums like the UN would require strong, coordinated diplomatic moves. The Air India bombing in 1985 (by Sikh extremists) and ongoing threats against Indian leaders have left deep scars in India’s memory, so it’s understandable why there’s frustration over how Canada is perceived to handle extremist elements on its soil. This diplomatic row is indeed complex and continues to evolve. India’s response so far has been firm, and the country will likely continue to assert itself on the international stage, particularly if it feels its sovereignty is being undermined. Whether the situation will escalate to international forums like the UN remains to be seen. For now, India is likely weighing its options while navigating a broader geopolitical environment.

We should stop being apologetic or in refusal mode. We have a right to deal any way we like, if a person harms our countries interests. We will not cooperate.

If Canada doesn’t cooperate with India why should India cooperate with Canada? What has Canada done on India’s request for 26 persons of interest who are involved in terrorism and criminal activities in India and harboured in Canada?
