Today I returned from Imphal and I can say without a shadow of doubt that Manipur has the best women empowerment in the whole country. And don't get fooled because they lives in a small city, their lifestyle is far superior than us. Also Manipur needs it's own time zone, I just can't keep it up with the time there, day begins at 5 am and ends at 7pm
I am from Rajasthan and I love North East India very much, 2 days ago I did not know anything about North East India, One day I was watching the Pakistani news channel,So it was talked about India's North East region,That is the base of missiles in Mizoram,Then I researched that you were amazed me a lot,Then I completed my entire study of India's seven sisters, at the end of 2 daysAnd then tears in my eyes,And I want to apologize to people of North East India by the people of my entire India.And now I want to spread awareness about the North East India region in the whole of India.This is my motto .And I would like to say to the people of North East India that not everyone is a racist These are very few people who talk about the type of racist agian I'm sorry & we appeal govt. To develop infrastructure in NE region
Yes , such beautiful people and customs . But they are treated shabbily when they come to bigger metros of India . I too want to apologize that mainstream people have treated them badly and for the neglect that Govt of India has always done towards the seven sisters

No. Given the fact that the mainlands are very ignorant of the NE region, its a highlight with the host being a North Indian and as you know for television, a show requires an attraction point and this video has done up to its mark . No doubt that we the NE people are as equally capable of it and doing so will be more of an appreciation and considered wonderful and inspiring youthful thought. But given the condition of the ignorance of majority of people in mainland India, this video calls in attention of our fellow bharat bhasis and I am glad as stated in my previous comment, I still stand for it. I encourage our NE talented youths to create as such.
The real meitei who doesn't wanted to follow the king's rules means the following of Hinduism, lives in mountains and villages, nowadays many Hindu followers also came to know their real religion and started following Sanamahi and one good example is me, my grandpa is a Hindu Brahmin of Hinduism but I decided to follow my religion and my God Sanamahi, the villages where Sanamahism Manipuri lives are Andro, Sekmai, Phayeng and etc. They all are famous for liquor, even my grandparents told me that in ancient time, they never welcome a Hindu followers and use liquor during war so that they will go wild and can fight for their lands against thier enemies with no mercy. So if you wanna know the real Manipuri then you chose a good decision going to Andro. I love history since I was only 3 even if I'm grown up to 13 right now I always listen stories from my parents and grandparents, and my grandparents' friend etc. I love history and even in my school I always get good mark in history, I already chose what subject I should take in standard 11 and that's of course arts and thank you for making my kangleipak or sanaleibak known to the world

Manipur never lost its culture Sanamahism. We still worship in every household. Manipur became vaishnavism and added different worshipping nature to the existing lifestyle. Even though the culture is change to Hinduism, the preaching way is the olden manipuri way influence with hinduism. If u look around the Hindus in INDIA is not the same as we Manipurean follow. Manipur never lost its culture heritage. Its an addition, that's all. As a manipuri, to the Locals ....don't be mistaken with the mindset that we have completely converted into hindu. Our king converted into hinduism but the king never demolish the Sanamahism, he just made it into beautiful adaptation to new culture addition to the culture we have. Manipuri people never demolish the Sanamahism. We all worship Lainingthou in every household still, be it hindu or not.
Sanamahism was revived very hardly by non-hinndus meitei. The kings wanted to destroy Sanamahism. It will be better to stop spreading fake information. We Meitei all know how those kings treat Sanamahism don't lie the history for the sake of Lainingthou Sanamahi thank you
now manipuri people are also indian and we love manipuri especially meithi people but why meithi eating pork as my information they are mostly veg and eat only fish etc
because as tradition of meiteis before the advent of vaishnavism pork was eaten and chicken also. it is only after the advent of vaishnavism that people started to change their tummy likingness.

But after sanatan Dharma came to Manipur people change alot. But among them only few give up I guess on meat. N some don't it meat by choice not by religious matter.
Great... I love it. Some people say Manipuri culture , specially Vaishnavism is gift of Shrihatta, modern Sylhet[ Bangladesh]. Most old stories r mentioned in Mahabharat . Chitravahan Chitrangada Babruvahan plus Queen of Nagaland named Ulupi etc
Bro... don't be misguided by those stories.. The Manipur you mentioned is in Present day Odisha. Our state's name was changed recently to Manipur by a Hindu pandit who spread Hinduism in this Region.
Bro there is not a single connection between Mahabharata and our state manipur our state is just changed its name in 18th century by a Hindu pandit named santa das gosai in pamheiba's court and we don't have a king brabubahon and queen name chitrangada.By just a simple logic there name doesn't have any meanings in our native language.
